"They Are Not Normal, They're Vampires"

"John will you let me talk to my daughter alone before I leave" mom said.

"Of course lady rose," John said he went to the door and opened it, then closed it. My mom waited until she couldn't hear the footsteps anymore. On her face, she had a small smile

"Emily, listen very good about what I'm going to tell you. At first, you won't believe me, but soon you will" mom said I look at her confused

"What it's mom?" I said " my mom got closer to me "They are not like us" mom said

"I don't understand mom, what you are talking about?" I said she sighed.

"They're Vampires Emily," mom said. my eyes opened wide, haha maybe it was one of her jokes that she used to tell me.

"Haha, mom good one you got me you're lying right?" I said my mom had a face like I'm serious. I was getting angry is she for real "Mom, then why did you have brought me here? you should have taken me to my aunt's Anna house, I would have been safer there" I said

"Listen to me Emily, they are good people they won't hurt you, they will protect you," mom said. she was getting a little sad. She looked at the floor and then at me.

"I DON'T NEED SOMEONE TO PROTECT!, ME I CAN PROTECT MYSELF!, IF YOU NEEDED MONEY YOU KNOW I CAN FIND A JOB AT BEST BUY OR SOMEWHERE BUT HOW COULD?!?! YOU... MY OWN MOM!!! WHY DID YOU HAVE TO BRING ME HERE??????" I said I looked at her and she looked at me with angry eyes

"Emily do you really want to know? why did I bring you here? it's because there are people who are looking for you because you were a wit-" mom said she paused

"What were you going to say, mom?" I said she looked at me before she turned around and faced the door.

"Forget it what I was going to say, this is the last time you're going to see me. Remember I will always love you and I'm sorry I hope you can forgive me one day but I have to go goodbye Emily" mom said she started crying, started walking to the door.

"Wait! mom, please don't go!"I said she opened the door and ran fast. I was going to stop her but john stopped me.

"John let me go! I have to talk to my mother! about what she was going to say to me. I need to know the truth" I said. I was getting so angry. I looked at the window and saw my mom get in the car, driving away from the castle.

"If I let you go, will you calm down?"John asked. I couldn't do anything my mom already left me here in this house that I'm going to live in.

"Fine you win" I said he let go of me I started to cry. John looked at me I was embarrassed he hugged me.

"I'm sorry this had to happen to you, I know you're hurt right now, you know what makes me happy when I get hurt? cookies and milk" John said I kinda smiled maybe mom was right maybe they are nice people.

We were in the kitchen eating some cookies and milk, watching some movies. It was silent for a movement until I broke the silents.

"John, can I ask you a question? but, I want you to tell me the truth? " I said he looks at me

"Yeah, sure what is it lady Emily?" John said

"Are-Are you a vampire?" I said

I looked at Emily when she asked me "Are-Are you a vampire?" Emily said I couldn't lie to her

"Yes, lady Emily I'm a vampire" I said Emily got scared. she started to shake off fear I can see in her eyes.

"But, hey don't be scared Emily I'm not the bad vampire if that's what you think, I'm one of the good ones," I said she looked a little calm when I said that to her.

"Thank God you seem like the good ones but it's kinda weird" Emily said I was happy for her

"What kind of weird lady Emily?" I said

"Will like I should be scared of you but my heart said don't be scared. But you think I'm a weirdo right?" Emily said I smiled at her and she blushed a little

"No don't ever think of that. You know you the first person who ever that said" I said she started to laugh "Wow really"

After we became friends I was happy this is going to be a good day I had made a new friend. Now I know more information about Emily. Emily knows more things about me.

Now it was 10:30 pm at the clocks Emily went to find her new room. Emily smiled she love her new room and thank me. We both said goodnight and I closed the door, I went to my office to finish some things.

I open my MacBook to find some files. My phone starts to ring my brother name pop up on my screen I answer it

"Hello brother how have you been?" I said "I been good I'm at the airport soon I will come home. so how was Emily she didn't give you any problems?" brother said

"Na I like her already you're lucky to have her. she is so sweet and nice, beautiful too not like the other girl. That would be all screaming you know I hate that. I have a question that is bothering me?'' I said he started to laugh.

"HaHa yeah I know I hope she will be nice to me too. I'm lucky to have her I can't wait to see her. what kind of question do you have for me brother?" the brother said

"How are you going to tell father. You know it not going to be easy for him and he not coming back in 2 weeks" I said he stay sighed thinking

"I don't know yet but he will have to deal with it. Whether he likes it or not. Will brother I have to go I will see you soon" brother said we both said goodbye and hang up
