Chapter 1

''Emily's Dreams"

|Emily POV|

I opened my eyes. I'm in my room I was eight years old. I look at my window it's a beautiful day.

I looked at a house that had a signed that said sold. I start thinking we are going to have a new neighbors. a white truck stops and parked into the new house, with a black car too.

On the black car the door open there was a boy. he look around ten years old. The boy started to walk into the new house but he stops for a moment.

He turns around where I was. he saw me and smile at me, waves. I smile back, wave back at him I blush a little.

END OF THE FLASHBACK

I woke up when my alarm clock rang. I live with my mom alone. she always working never have time to spends like Mother and Daughter. she always at work I will never know what kind of work she does?

I got dress and brush my teeth, went downstairs. I walked into the kitchen I saw a letter in the table I picked up.

"Hello, my little girl I hope you ate your breakfast and get ready for school. I'm so sorry I couldn't take you to school I wish I had time for you. but you know work etc... will goodbye my little girl good luck at school.

I place the letter down I sighed. I started thinking maybe she will never know when my birthday is coming and it tomorrow. I finished my breakfast and went outside, closed the door start to walk to go to school.

When I got to school I saw my friends there they wave at me. I started to walk and they gave me a hug. I was so happy to see them they always make me happy and laugh.

"So Emily are you coming to my party? on next Saturday'' Alexis said I smile at her " Of course I will be there'' I said she smile gave me a hug. then the bell rang we wave and said our goodbye's.

**Later That Day**

I opened the door to my house and enter. I went upstairs to my room, place my backpack on my bed lay down I was tired. I let a breath out stay there for a moment until I got up and went to the bathroom to take a bath and change into my new clothes.

I went downstairs to get something to eat. I got my iPhone out of my pocket to call my mom to check what time she will be coming home?

On the second rang "Hello Emily what wrong?" mom said, "Oh nothing I was just wondering what time are you coming home, mom?" I said

It was silent for a minute "I don't know around 2-3 in the morning" mom said "Okay mom be safe I love you mom" I said

"Goodnight Emily don't stay up too late alright and I love you too," Mom said I hang up and place my iPhone down into the table.

I check on the time it was 9:30 p.m I guess I will go to sleep

I woke up happy It was my birthday today I went downstairs to get my iPhone on the kitchen table I saw "Mom'' I said

She smiles a little I was right she didn't remember my birthday. I was a little sad but I was glad to see my mom I didn't get see she changes allot

"Good morning Emily I know you might think I forgot your birthday today" mom said I was surprised like she read my mind and hand me a big bag.

"Here I know you will like it," mom said I opened it she got me mac laptop I was very happy "Thank you, mom, I love it" I said she looked at me with sad eyes "Emily we need to talk now?" mom said

"Alright, mom" I said we went to the living room and sit down. She looks at me and want to cry "Emily be strong what I'm about to tell you I know you won't be happy but I need to tell you now" mom said

I looked at her "Emily I did something very bad. I can't tell you I'm going to tell you something I- I sold you to someone" mom said I was angry

"How Could You Do This To Me. Mom Why Would You Do This I Can't Believe You. My Own Mother" I said
