Giyuu had a hashira meeting to attend, and since it was a less important one, tsugukos were allowed to attend, as long as they stayed polite, so Takeo was able to meet the rest of the hashira. No other hashira other than Tengen and Shinobu had visited the Water Estate during Takeo’s training, so part of him was nervous about meeting the other ones.

They had got to the Demon Slayer Corps Headquarters in a surprisingly quick time, and Takeo was stunned into silence. Before the building even came into view, he could tell that whoever the master of the corps was, obviously had a lot of money. There were beautiful wisteria trees, the pathway made with pearly white pebbles, and the large garden were enough to make his sometimes overly emotional brother cry.

The building was even bigger, the home estate of the leader of the corps. He followed after Giyuu, making sure not to stray too far away. There were a lot of people who were covered completely, only their eyes visible. Kakushi, Giyuu had informed him, were what they were called. They were the demon slayers who weren’t as skilled with swords, but still contributed by helping the hashira and cleaning up after a particularly messy battle.

It seemed they were the first people there, and Takeo got much more comfortable until he heard an unexpected voice from behind him.

“Who are you again?”

This caused Takeo to jump, letting out a little scream. He looked and saw that it was a boy who looked his age. Was he another tsuguko? He looked way too young to be a hashira. But if he was a tsuguko, where was his master?

After staring for a second, he remembered that a question had been asked.

“Um, my name is Takeo Kamado,” he stammered. “The tsuguko of Giyuu Tomioka.”

“Who’s that,” the man sounded dazed, like his mind was elsewhere. He then walked off. He was a strange one, but very beautiful. He reminded Takeo of Nezuko sometimes, how she would get so lost in daydreams that she would barely be able to comprehend anything else going on around her. Plus his long black hair with the mint tips was much like Nezuko’s brown hair with orange tips.

“That’s Muichiro Tokito,” Giyuu said, startling the Kamado boy with his presence. “He is the Mist Pillar, and has been since he was twelve. One of the most talented pillars, and one of two to become a hashira after only two months of picking up a sword.”

“Since he was twelve?!” Takeo was shocked. He was only a year younger than Muichiro, yet the smaller boy was already a hashira. He could hardly fathom it.

“Yes,” Giyuu said. “As the other hashira arrive, I’ll let you know who is who, though I will warn you that I don’t know much about each one.”

Takeo nodded, showing that he understood, looking around and taking in his surroundings. As the assigned time for the meeting grew closer, more hashira arrived. The Insect Hashira, Shinobu Kocho, he had met previously, and he learned that she had somewhat of an obsession with poisons, and poking from what Giyuu had said. With her, there was the silent girl he had seen when he had first learned about the Demon Slayer Corps. According to Giyuu, she was Shinobu’s tsuguko- Kanao he thought her name was- and she was in the same pink kimono he has seen her in a while ago.

Tengen Uzui- the Sound Hashira- had also already been acquainted with Takeo, and from what the boy knew was that he loved flashy things. Takeo didn’t like him very much. He was too loud. Next, a girl with bright pink and green hair and a very revealing uniform showed up.

The Love Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji. Giyuu had said that she was always super nice, and she got flustered easily-and easily flustered others, as when she introduced herself, she didn’t seem to realize the embarrassment spread across Takeo’s face in the form of a blush.
