Chapter 5: The Notebook

2 weeks have passed and it was time for the UA festival to start.

Y/N and Aizawa walk into the announcer booth being greeted by Present Mic.

"Hey Gang, You ready to rock and roll?!" Present Mic says

"I'm just here to watch and not be in the action zone." Y/N says, "Aizawa will be announcing with you."

Y/N looks out the window and sees the crowd surrounding the stadium.

"Holy shit, I forget how big the event gets." Y/N whispers. Aizawa stands by her, brushing his hand against hers.

Present Mic starts introducing the first year students and courses.

"Do you remember when Ob came in 1st?" Y/N asks as they stand up close to the window, "Sucker."

Aizawa smiles as he recalls Oboro using his cloud to fly past his opponents during the first event which was the race.

"He always did have a cool quirk." Y/N says smiling down as the first year students make their way out the tunnel. Oboro inherited a similar quirk as their father, Oki, While Y/N's quirk was inherited from their grandmother, only their grandmother quirk creates peoples deepest desires. 

"Your quirk is impressive, too." Aizawa says, staring at her making her blush, "Who wouldn't want to scare people with what they fear the most."

"I guess my quirk isn't too bad" Y/N says smiling at him, "When can you get those bandages off? I swear I feel like I'm talking to a mummy." Y/N teases as she takes a seat behind Shota and Mic

"You know who would have loved this?" Y/N says leaning back in her chair

"Who?" Mic and Aizawa says

"Oboro." Y/N says with a smile.

"He would sneak his way in here somehow." Aizawa says

The three of them smile as they think of Oboro.

"Nice! They are starting!" Y/N shouts out as they watch the screen of the kids running through the obstacle course.

Present Mic announcing everyone's moves, who is in first and who is in last.

"Aizawa, what have you been doing with your class? All of them are starting off great."

"Class 1-A has learned not to hesitate." Shota says, "After fighting villains they were put into survival mode."

"You hear that? Aizawa is just a terrible teacher!" Mic announces making Y/N laugh

The students get to the landmine part of the race and they watch Midoriya dig.

"What is he doing?" Y/N asks as she squints trying to see what is going on

A huge cloud of pink dust explodes

"Whoa! Midoriya is pretty smart." Y/N says

"I still question how he got into UA." Aizawa says

"Come on, Shota. Give him a break. People thought the exact same with you and me when we first joined the Hero Course." Y/N says, patting his shoulder, "That kid has a tough quirk. To destroy his body after using it must be rough."

"His quirk reminds too much of All Might." Shota says

"Well I'm glad All Might is helping him, Midoriya's quirk is really powerful." Y/N says, "OH, Check it out! He won the race."

40 mins have passed and they watch the students do the cavalry battle.

"Oh man! This is getting good!" Mic says as they watch everyone chasing after Midoriya for his headband.
