Today was the start of school classes. The first day of school. And honestly, Gabriella was not feeling this day. The alarm rings and she immediately gets up lazily, still sleepy due to the previous night and she heads to the bathroom to refresh herself up.

Not forgetting about the bad headache she has... She had taken some pain killers to get rid of the pain.

She dresses into a creamy beige cardigan top that was over her white dress that hanged down till her knees. She tops it off with some white sneakers. Her brown hair flows loosely over her shoulders so that her earrings hoops was visible. And she does her normal morning skincare routine and gives herself some glow to the face. Smile. That's what she gives.

"Sofie! Alex!" Her voice was heard throughout the silent room, towards the two girls that was still sleeping like a lifeless corpse. "It's almost time for classes..." Gabriella calls out to her roommates and fixed her her belongs putting them into her brown tote bag.

"What time is it?" The horse voice of Sofie was heard and she groans as she opens her eyes trying to not close them again. Her head aches and she hisses. "Ah!" She scrunches her herself into a painful one before closing her eyes for a few seconds then opening them again. "7.30" Gabriella says.

And like that, Alex was out of bed running towards the bathroom. And Sofie just looks at her run, while Gabriella bursts into soft giggles. She hears the bathroom door slam close and Sofie gets up lazily, still holding onto her aching head due to the previous night of having too much alcohol at Jayden's party.

"Alright, I'm off now." Gabriella says and Sofie immediately looks at her while the other grabs her bag swinging it over her shoulder. "Aren't you going to have breakfast?" Sofie asks and Gabriella nods. "Yeah, I'll get at the cafeteria today." She says with a smile and before Sofie could answer, Gabriella was out of the room already.

The cafeteria where Gabriella walked in was on campus and it wasn't crowdy, luckily. Gabriella does not like crowded places. Upon entering the large spacious cafeteria, she sees people already having there breakfast, some rushing some taking there own time and some still ordering.

She rushes to the line before it gets any longer and she order her a cup of tea along with two large chocolate muffins. She gets her on the side of the counter some small average size bucket that had grapes and cherries in. She also gets some sweets.

Getting her order on a tray, she looks around the cafeteria, her eyes scanning for an empty table. Finally getting one that was close to the open view garden, she heads that way and sits down sipping on her tea already.

Not noticing, while she was eating, she heard the side of the table move a bit while she was looking on her phone and eating on her muffin. Her head looks up, and she widens her eyes right away.

"Uh.... Tall g-guy." She squeaks and the guy, Zack looks at her "Wait...no, no.. that's not what I meant-" As she stammers, Zack cuts her off with his deep chuckle, his white teeth visible.

Wow his smile is so pretty A thought runs through her head as her eyes lands on his lips. "It's okay... I'm not tall, you're just short..." He says and Gabriella immediately frowns.

"I'm not tall, you're just short." The memory of the previous night flows to her head. She sees the face of his, close to her face. And the memory of him carrying her in bridal style taking her to the room. Another memory of him laying her down on her bed and taking care of her.

"A cute two year old one, yes" and right then getting the memory, she had butterflies in her stomach, the same way she had it when he said it to her.

"I-" she didn't notice the way an amusing smile on Zack's lips as she had her cheeks red and her stomach flew with butterflies and almost like she was off in another world zoning out as the memories flooded of the previous night to her head

"I see you remember..." The deep voice of Zack's interrupts her head and she snaps out of her zone. She immediately blushes and looks at him. He was already looking at her with a brow raised.

And she felt her heart beating...

To say this have happened the first time she met Zack, and once when the tall dude raised her into a bridal style. And now again, while he was giving her that amusing look towards her.

"I-i d-d-dont.... Know- w-hat you're talking of-"

"Oh please, don't joke around church girl-"

"What?" She looks at him with widen eyes. "Did you just call me church girl?" She looks at him offended, but he doesn't say or do anything other than continuing to look at her with amusing eyes. "That's really offensive!" She says and her eyes begins to get teary...

This leading to Zack go notice and it's like his has been snapped out of his cocky personality and immediately he had leaned forward so fastly with concerning eyes the moment he saw her lips wobble.

"Hey I didn't mean-"

He couldn't even finish and a tear escapes from her eyes and she places her breakfast on the tray. She gets up and leaves. Just like that. He watches her head to another empty table, her back facing his and she has her breakfast.

He didn't forget the way she used her index finger to wipe her tears.

Oh shit... His head runs with a thought.

Gabriella had sit down eating her chocolate large muffin and sips onto her milk tea- with a happy smile. Food makes her smile. She always had the addicting to eat and she didn't even complain.

"GABBY!" a high pitched voice screams to her and she sees her long time childhood friend, Summer May. The two had been bestest childhood friends since elementary school.

Gabriella's face lits up as she sees her friend approaching her with the biggest smile on her face, and right there she got a bone crushing hug.

"Hi! I've missed you!" Summer says with a happy tone cleared in her voice that she actually missed the shorter female. Yes, Gabriella was shorter. Summer had brown hair, the exact same as Gabriella.

"I've missed you too Summer." The shorter female squeals out happily, totally forgetting she was sobbing by a offensive comment by a rude, tall and handsome guy she just met a day ago.

"Are you off to classes after breakfast?"

"Yes, I've just finished. I have Literature."

"yes, same! Let's go together!" And Gabriella nods at her friend, clearing up her breakfast.

She hadn't noticed the onyx eyes was still on her, watching her every move along with with Summer by her side. He felt secured. Like he has met someone different- the right one.
