David just give Draco a small nodd, but the young boy wasn't sure if he could believe him. He didn't tell anybody, not even his best friend, that he had been having bad dreams about his daddy leaving them. He didn't want his daddy to have a reason to leave him, he didn't want to be causing trouble. He felt like he was bad, because of his mom leaving him. Why else would she leave him? David had to be bad.
David also didn't go to sleep, not until Harry came back into the bedroom nearly half an hour later. Harry laid down on the bed and David nuzzled to his side. Harry just locked his arm around the boy, watching David fall asleep, before he woke back up his sleeping partner. "Did he say anything to you?" Harry asked softly, he didn't want to risk waking David. "He's worried, like the rest of your kids are." Draco said and Harry let out a sigh. "I don't...know what to do to make that fear go away. What else can I possibly do?" Harry said and Draco shook his head. "Unfortunately, there isn't anything you can do. Enough time, should prove to them. I wish I could help make it easier on you and your kids, but I don't know how." Draco admitted. "You do plenty Draco. You have done more then I have ever had before." Harry said, watching Draco lend over and plant a soft kiss on his lips. He lend down and gave David's head a kiss. "I love you, both." Draco said.

--three days Later--
--August 2nd--
--Saturday--

Even if Joey was still achy. Today was a big day. Oddly enough, both his children were born in August 2nd, just three years apart. Victor turned 18 and Victoria turned 15. It was still early, and he was standing at the stove. A couple cakes already in the oven, and he was thinking about some kind of breakfast, but he wasn't really sure and his mind was a touch foggy, because of the pain killers in his system. Little Valerie was in her highchair. No point in her waking Victor or James when he was wide awake. She was watching her grandpa with wide eyes, but sucking on her pacifier and still in her jammies.
It wasn't to long of the man standing there just staring off that he felt a tab on his shoulder. He turned slowly to see Anne. Anne was Summers mother, who had been staying with them the last few days. Joey, Summer and Harry all felt there a bigger reason behind her bitting her tongue about her daughter's choice of a partner. She did, however, gain two grandchildren and a great grandchild, so...she was learning to overcome her problems. She could use a family, even if it was one her own mother wouldn't agree with. "Are you sure you should be on your feet?" She asked a bit softly. "I took a pain killer, I'm fine. I'm busy anyway." Joey replied. "Summer told me the 'little Vickys' birthdays are today. Does she really call them both Vicky?" Anne asked and Joey chuckled. "And they both hate it, but they secretly love it. They never had a mother that cared. I've had Victoria since she came home form in the hospital." Joey said. "Summer, won't tell me about Victor. He seems dependent on you." Anne said and joey let out a sigh. "I didn't even know about Victor until he was ten. His mama knew the names I had been holding onto since a was like six, I guess she used it for Victor. There wasn't a father listed on his birth certificate, so when she lost custody, he went into the system. He was ten when she told them who was the father and eleven before the paternity test to match. Victor believed a lie, so I did my best to protect him for a far, but that didn't do much. Victoria only told me so much." Joey said. "How...did the depends happen then?" She asked and he shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know." Joey said, before Valerie made noises, it was time for the baby to get her attention.

Summer smiled lightly and picked her up out of the highchair. Valerie was happy with her placement on her hip and held tightly to the shirt the woman had on. "I do have to asked, aren't you married?" Joey asked. "Yes, but I don't know where he ran off to this week." She said. "I suppose Summer doesn't know, hum?" Joey asked, getting out the pancake mix. He decided on pancakes for the two of them. "She knew we were having problems. I just don't feel like going through all that paperwork again." She said, getting used now as a pillow for the infant girl. Valerie was getting sleepy. Anne just laid Valerie down in her arms and after a fuss or two, Valerie relaxed. "Understood. Marriage these days doesn't seem worth it." Joey kind of said. "Summer hasn't said anything about it?" Anne asked. "I don't need some paperwork to tell me Summers my girl, but no. She hasn't really brought it up." Joey said. "Just be careful, Joey. I can tell you aren't...yourself." Anne said. "I'll admit I'm a bit foggy, but I'll be fine. She'll lay down in sure." Joey said.

Anne took Valerie to the bedroom she shared with her daddies. She kept very quiet, as she eased the baby down in the crib by the bed. Valerie made a tiny noise, but yawned as the small blanket was put over her and she slowly closed her eyed. The baby went back to sleep, and Anne shut the door just as her phone started to ring. Anne let out a sigh and pulled out her phone. It was a video request form her ex boyfriend. The biological father of her grown daughter, summer.
