Alright, I know I've promised to tell you all about the interview thing, so here you go!
My school is a very weird school. We hold several traditions and activities, which is a little bit too much for a high school that also wants their students to do well in academic fields. Well, probably more than just a little bit. The school's always finding ways to make more time, and our schedules just keep getting busier than EVER. But that doesn't seem to stop them....... Cause apparently they still think they have time for all those competitions out there.
Anyways, there's this competition called The Teen Diplomats Project. That sounds totally weird. It's a competition featuring horrible skits and awkward speeches that are just ewww. First you do a short play about helping teens to "expand their international visions" and "learn to respect all kinds of different perspectives" and so on. Utterly meaningless. And then, you'll have to make group speeches on five topics (they have no exact difference, to be honest), which you have a 89.64% chance to present the same thing to the already-numb judges as others do.
Sounds fun, huh?
Yeah, that is what I got myself into. You never know what it is like until you are really in that program.
But there is another one. And I promise you, this one is better. It's the school custom to hold an exchange program during both summer and winter. And during winter, students from our school get to visit other schools in different countries, and participate in their regular school life for a month. Now that is something.
And guess what guys? I GOT THE FREAKING PART!!!!!
My name is Lizzie Ravalz, and LIFE COULDN'T BE BETTER *throws petals all over the place*

Okay, okay. I know. Let me tell you, I would rather call the interview: the Best Staring Contest. EVER.
Seriously? It's all about confidence. I can never tell if the judges really do care about what I'm saying (are they even listening to me, excuse me?), or they just want to see if this little girl would freak out in front of them.
Uh, I heard that's how some teachers get their thrills. *shrugs*
But I do know one thing- you do not win without a little bit of rebellious teen spirit. I literally just stared into that one teacher's eyes until she looked away...... And it was AWESOME. There was a part of me wondering if I have messed it up, but turns out it did great! I mean, RANK 6/18!!!!! That is already glorious for a first-timer like me. It's a honor! I just couldn't calm down like gahhhhhh!
You know, it has been my lifelong dream to take part in this program, and now I did it with performance that I'm sure would make my friends proud. Those who hated on me wouldn't even dream of this day. TAKE THAT LOSERS! SUCK IT DOWN! #sorry/notsorry
Right, now here comes the ugly truth: after getting picked, I'll have to complete the training for both programs. I'm sure it would be a huge challenge, having so many things to do as a 10th grader. It's just my first semester in senior high school, but I believe it's a amazing way to start and it might even change some of my bad habits and whatnot. I'm determined to do this, and just like what my friends all say- you don't grow unless you lose something and take some risks!
Whatever, I'll see you soon enough..... Just pray that I won't get too caught up with all the work. Peace out!
