After spending a joor with Celeste, Rhythm and Galvatron left to head back to the apartment. As she walked through the streets of Iacon, she spotted a few Elite Guards that she knows but she didn’t go out of her way to say hi. However, even if she did, she would not because the way that Autobots were brought up to see the Decepticons concerned in what light they would see Galvatron in. Sure, the Autobots and Decepticons have a peace treaty at the moment but not a whole lot have changed.
After walking some distance, she finally made it to the apartment building, walked up to the fifth floor and came to apartment E5-09. She pressed the code into the keyboard, the door slid open, she walked in, and the place was dark. Slag it, Optimus wasn’t home.

::Optimus?:: She used her comm link to try to get a hold of him as she went to put Galvatron in his sparkling swing and turned it on. ::Optimus?:: She tried again, as she moved across the living room to sit on the couch. ::I swear if you don’t answer me, I’m contacting your Creators.::

::What?:: Optimus finally replied.

::Where are you? I just got back with Galvy.::

::I am at the library.::

Rhythm was relieved to hear that. She was worried he would go to a bar or a club and get super drunk- which is extremely rare for Optimus to do. She was about to tell him that she was going to talk to Ultra Magnus tomorrow, come up with something that would keep him in the Academy. ::Okay... Well, I’m here if you need to talk.::

::I know.:: It was like she could hear Optimus’ sad smile.

She heard Optimus closing his side of the comm link, she wished she could go back in time and change everything, but the only way out is to go forward. She looked over at her son who had absolutely no care in the world, he was in recharge. It has been an exhausting cycle, she laid down on the couch, thinking a quick nap would do her some good.
---------------------------------
The loud bang startled Rhythm awake. Her first instinct was to look towards her son, she felt her spark stop when she noticed that he wasn’t in his swing. She stumbled trying to get up, she didn’t notice that a blanket was put on her at some point. She was horrible trying to get up, she just ended up on the floor.

“Primus, are you okay?” that was Optimus.

Flustered, she turned towards his voice, only to see him in the kitchen, holding a fussy Galvatron. “You’re back.” She looked him over, trying to find any evidence that he may have
gotten into a fight or injured or something that she should be concerned about. “I didn’t hear you come in.”

Optimus shrugs as he shifted Galvatron in his arms. “You were asleep. I put a blanket on you and took Galvatron with me to my quarters.”

“Oh.” She removed the blanket from her pedes so she could get up. “What time did you come in?”

“A half past twenty-five,” he said.

Rhythm frowned. “What time is it now?”

“It’s 0800.”

“What?!” Rhythm exclaimed. She didn’t have enough time to shower before going to the Magnus office, but she had enough time to change and probably munch on some energon cookies on the way.

Optimus was watching her have a panic attack, he took the sparkling bottle and plopped it into Galvatron’s mouth who gladly took it. He didn’t understand why she was panicking, the cycle to panic was the other cycle. Before he could ask what was wrong, Rhythm quickly took off towards her bedroom to change into something more professional for the meeting. A quick debate with herself of what she was going to wear, she decided to go with a blouse and a pair of pants. She could have wore one of her Elite Guard armours but she felt like wearing one wouldn’t be appropriate at this moment.
