Running into the wall of 9 3/4 Emberly opens her eyes to see the people she has gone to school with for the past few years all hug and kiss their families goodbye. She turns around to see her parents appear shortly after. Emberly's family is not the most touchy of families, certainly not like the Weasley's, but they did all love each other. Hugging her parents she assures them that she will write regularly and promises to visit for Christmas. A few more hugs are given before the train blows its whistle signaling that it will be leaving shortly. With that Emberly turns and takes her satchel from her mother and boards the train.
Emberly's POV

Walking into the train I saw that most compartments were full, and not wanting to sit with random people I don't know I decided to go farther back and check the compartments there. I saw a compartment open with only one blonde girl inside, I didn't recognize her and she surely looked nice enough to let me sit there. But before I could get there a was stopped by a cackling Pansy Parkison pointing at me and laughing.
"Oh look at her she looks like such a slut like that!! Who are you trying to impress Emberly?"
I scoffed at her looking down at my outfit I was in a black slightly skin tight skirt that I thought was a reasonable length and a dark green cropped top
"Watch your mouth Parkison I'm not the one with my legs open to the entire school! At least I have some standards for myself and the people I choose to date. So shut up before I rearrange your pug looking face." I say rolling my eyes. I am not taking anyones bullshit anymore this year
She looks taken back with a look of shock on her face and her mouth open and it wasn't until then when I realized Blaise Zabini was sitting across from her trying not to laugh
"God Emberly when did you get a mouth" he says through stifled laughs.
"Shut up Zabini" I say rolling my eyes and turning away to leave when I bump into a certain tall blonde boy and my least favorite person out of the entire school.
"Well well well, look who came back thinking she's all grown up." He says with a smirk on his face and I just simply roll my eyes.
"I'm not putting up with your shit comments this year Malfoy it's honestly getting tiring" I say through gritted teeth. He looks slightly taken back that I said something back to him but quickly replies to me by going with the classic
"Do you know who I am?!" While shooting daggers with his eyes
"Of course I know who you are Malfoy I'm not that stupid, we've been going to the same school since we were eleven. But your dumb "I'm a Malfoy so I'm better than you" attitude is quite frankly very annoying." I snap back at him and he steps closer to me showing the clear height difference.
"I'm not intimidated by you because your taller than me Malfoy, it will just make it more embarrassing for you when you get punched in that stupid face of yours." I snap and take a step closer to him and reach up to grab him by the ear and pull him out of my way.
"Now move I need to get to my seat." I walk past him but before I could open the door he yells at me while holding his now red ear.
"Don't think your gonna get away with doing that Dirmoter!"
"Looks like I already did Malfoy." I say while smirking and slip into compartment and closing the door behind me. I turn around and let out a quick sigh before addressing the blonde girl sitting there who is now looking up at me
"Hi, do you mind if I sit in here?"
"Oh of course!" She replies in an angelic and soft voice.
"Thank you, I'm Emberly Dirmoter by the way."
"Luna Lovegood" she says while smiling.
"That's such a beautiful name!"
"Thank you."
I look out the window admiring the scenery of the beautiful deep woods and I loose track of time as we're nearly arriving, I excuse myself from the compartment and went into the laboratories to change into my robes and straighten up my hair. I reassure myself 'your not a slut your just confident in your body there's a difference, don't let her get into your mind.' I slowly exhale and exit the laboratory and make my way back to Luna.
I return to see her looking out the window, mesmerized by the stunning scenery outside. Not wanting to startle her I walk in quietly and sit down across from her grabbing a book from my bag and opening it to where I last left off.
"Beautiful isn't it?" Luna questions shortly after I begin reading and it catches me slightly off guard.
"Yes very, I just love the nature." I say looking out the window with her
"Me too."
and with that the train comes to a stop a blows it's whistle signaling that we've arrived. I quickly grab my things and leave the compartment, hopeful not to run into a certain blonde haired boy. Even though I didn't want to admit it I was slightly intimidated by his threat and did not want to see if he would follow through with it.
But just my luck as I closed the compartment door that same boy runs into me practically knocking me over. He doesn't even look down to see who he has ran over because he already knows, his signature smirk plastered onto his smug face as he continues to walk.
"You did that on purpose Malfoy!" I yell at him as he's walking away, regaining my balance.
I huff out a breath and walk out of the train following the rest of the students towards the school.
