(The gang are flying over the Forbidden Forest)

Shadow:Over there!

Shadow:Looks like the perfect place to find a measure of courage.

Sonic: this is the most dangerous Forest.  There's danger in every corner. The sooner we find knuckles, more safer we'll be. He knows this forest better than anyone.

Darren: meaning we can't let our guard down.

Sonic:[nervously] Maybe we should...

Shadow: [sencer] sonic. I said that I would cure our family,our people....and you. I'm not going back on my word so don't sway me.

(Sonic lands in the Forbiddean Forest. Shadow and Darren gets off of Sonic's back)

Sonic: Here we are. The deepest part of the forest.

(A loud creaking sound can be heard)

Sonic:*scared* okay, I've seen enough, let's get out of here.

[Before sonic could move, shadow grabbed him by the tail.]

Shadow: we are not going anywhere.

(More creaking sound, which scare sonic more. Darren's hand start to glow, preparing his magic at anytime)

Shadow :Don't worry. its probably just the wind.

(The gang start walking as the creaking sound continues)

Shadow:Keep your eyes open. Don't miss a thing!

Sonic:What exactly are we looking for?

Shadow: how do you not know. Arent you the one who's been trying.

Sonic: I didn't know about the Chaos Emeralds or the master emerald. There really mysterious. Not many people know about them.

(They continue the walk carefully as a crow screech in the background. A foot then pass by on the screen. Shadow was distracted by his surroundings, he didn't check the ground and almost feel into a trap.

Shadow: Wwooooaw. WOOoowoooaah

[Luckly Darren and sonic caught him in time but they get caught in a net trap.

Shadow: What the heck.

Sonic: I know these traps anywhere. These are knuckles's trap. Besides his treasures hunting skill, he's also a great trapper.

[Out form the shadows revealing a red echidna]

Knuckles:Looks like you took a wrong turn, ...[sees sonic] Sonic!

Sonic: Hey Knuxs, long time no see.

Knuckles: What are you doing here? Only fools come to the Forbidden Forest.

Shadow: And yet, you're here!

Knuckles: but I'm not swinging from a tree.

(Knuckles takes out a knife and cut the rope tied to the tree trunk which drops the nets.)

Shadow: Ahhh.

Sonic: Wwwwoo.

Darren: oooooffff

[Sonic,shadow,darren get up to recover from the falling. Knuckles recognized Darrenand shadow and quickly bowed )

Knuckles: my apologies your  Highnesses.

Darren: no harm done.

Shadow: knuckles was it?

Knuckles: yes.

Sonic: you recognize my brother and my uncle.

Knuckles: brother? Uncle?
