As we walked to the docks I almost subconsciously walked slower than I usually do. I had only known Kurapika for a little over a hour but it had felt like forever. After a few minutes of walking we arrived at the boats and Captain Beidou was there as expected.
"Well, I guess it's goodbye. For now at least." He seemed sad to go, however we both knew he had to.
I extended my arms out for a hug. I don't tend to be to fond of hugs however the Traveler likes to give everyone hugs when they know they won't come back for a bit so I figured it may be comforting.
He looked hesitant at first but in the end we hugged. It was a nice hug, with his arms around my back and his face pressed into my chest. I wish we could have stayed like that forever.
He bid me farewell and waved to me as Beidou's ship left the harbor, his head glistening in the sun. I could do nothing but stare as he vanished from sight.
As I was about to leave Tartaglia, now completely bald, stepped in my way and asked me on a date.
Personally, I think Ajax is the type to look better with hair.
