Dust x Blue

Slipping Away from Battles pt.2

Blue POV-

As I enter Outer tale the stars embrace me with their glow. It always is a special treat when I'm able to slip away long enough to see these miracles of nature! I hear a twig snap and I look behind me, "Hey baby Blue~" Dust says, revealing himself out of the darkness. "Oh, Dust! It's just you. I thought you were someone else, like Killer." I say with a sigh of relief. Dust looks offended, "Am I not scary to you, baby Blue?" He asks with an upset tone. I shake my head and Dust lunges at me, just like our battle earlier with him pinning me down. "Am I scary now, baby Blue? ~" He asks in a flirty tone. I blush and look away, "I'm here for a reason, better spill." Said Dust, clearly not planning to let me free. "I just wanted to talk." I admit. He looks disappointed, "I was expecting something else." He says. 

Dust POV-

I wasn't wrong, I wanted to pin him to a tree and make him beg for mercy~ Talking is boring, for the pacifists honestly. I could see that Blue didn't want what I was hoping for, and I get off him, "Any who, can we talk?" He asks. I let him have the floor, "Since it's obvious that you mean me no harm, how about we start a truce?" He offers. "Hmm... How about... No." He looks upset, "But Dust! You saved me! Shouldn't you feel as if we'd make a great team!" I sigh, "Look baby Blue, I would agree to this truce of yours if I didn't have boss hanging on my neck twenty-four-seven. But if you really want to start something... I'm single, your single?" I offer. He blushes, "I hardly know you!" He argues. "You know enough. We've been fighting for years and I'm pretty sure you've blushed for me more than twice. ~" He clearly thinking since he's similar to so many Papyruses with their hand gestures. "Alright. I will go out with you." He finally answers.

Blue POV-

I see Dust grin and that makes me happy. Maybe with enough time, Dust will join us instead of Nightmare! And who knows, maybe this can really go off! "I better get back. Nightmare thinks I'm only getting more LV. That usually doesn't take me long." Dust says. I give him a hug which he doesn't receive at first and I feel him kiss my head. I blush and Dust heads back to Nightmare's castle and I decide to head back home as well.

Dust POV-

When I arrive back to Nightmare's castle, I can see everyone gathered in the living room, "Hey Dust!" Says Killer with excitement. "What's on tonight?" I ask. Killer flips through the channels again, "Mainly boring shit. There's a murder mystery channel but that's fake and I'd rather experience the real murder." "You'd be the one getting killed." I joked. Killer looks at me offended, "Rude! Any who, boss wanted to see you when you return. He said it was urgent that you see him when you get back. He looked pissed!" I sigh and teleport to Nightmare's office, I knock on the door and Nightmare opens it. "Do you care to explain why during the massive attack you and Blue weren't to be seen?" He asks. "Blue ran off and I chased after him. I didn't catch him until your attack went off." I lie. "I figured you say something like that. When I saw you teleport away with Blue, I sent Killer to follow. He said he found you flirting with Blue and keeping him alive without any fighting happening. Care to explain?" I can hear in the tone of Nightmare's voice that he's pissed but not letting it show, real fear when you can't see him expressing his actions. He's saving his energy in case I fight back when finally strikes, I've seen it too many times. "I have no excuse. I did save Blue, but I knew your attack would kill him! He's my only form of entertainment!" I admit. Nightmare stands up, "We could've had that annoying skeleton killed and you blew it for entertainment. You've got some nerve!" He finally shouts. "Wait! Before you start punishing me, hear me out!" I shout. He pauses, "I saved Blue to gain his trust. He's practically on our side! He'll tell us everything we need to know and more. I promise." I tell him. Nightmare calms himself and nods, "Well done. I don't want to see you for the rest of the night." I nod and run out the room.
