Third Person

The next week passed smoothly for the girls and two Slytherin boys. They seemed to be quite civil towards each other, as they had formed a mutual friendship in their music classes. Frog Choir had been canceled recently, as Professor Flitwick, the conductor, had lost his voice for the time being.

Because of the children's friendships, they didn't not acknowledge each other in the halls (as this would create controversy) but worked well in the classroom environment.

Amarissa's PoV

To say that I was nervous would be an understatement.

If you said I was super duper frightened and was ready to piss myself?

Still an understatement.

You're probably laughing at me right now. Well, try performing with the boy you love! Not so funny now, huh?

But seriously, I was literally pissing myself.

"Amy!" Sari said, "Stop pacing! You're making me dizzy!"

I turned and smirked. "How can someone pacing make you dizzy?"

"I'm a complicated human being!" She stated.

Sari? Complicated? What is it with all the understatements today?

DURING MUSIC

Thank goodness Draco and I weren't first. Vi and Blaise were.

"Hey! I'm Violet Potter and this is Blaise Zabini, and this is our song, Impossible."

Blaise sat at a piano and Violet stationed herself at the microphone.

"I remember years ago

Someone told me I should take

Caution when it comes to love

I did, I did

And you were strong and I was not

My illusion, my mistake

I was careless, I forgot

I did

And now when all is done

There is nothing to say

You have gone and so effortlessly

You have won

You can go ahead tell them

Tell them all I know now

Shout it from the roof tops

Write it on the sky line

All we had is gone now

Tell them I was happy

And my heart is broken

All my scars are open

Tell them what I hoped would be

Impossible, impossible

Impossible, impossible

Falling out of love is hard

Falling for betrayal is worse

Broken trust and broken hearts

I know, I know

Thinking all you need is there

Building faith on love and words

Empty promises will wear

I know, I know

And now when all is gone

There is nothing to say
