Chapter 6 - That perfect dare

Ian's POV

The game finally ended. We won of corse! After the game we all went to hang out in the quad. Meanie came to join us after she changed out of her dress, but she still had her crown on. I was still wearing Anthony's jacket but kept asking is he was cold. "Dude just shut up. I'll be fine" he said chuckling.

We were all board. Mari suggested we play truth or dare. We all sat in a circle and Matt pulled out his phone. "I have a truth or dare app" "Perfect!" Mari said. Matt finished putting all our names in. He put his phone in the middle and hit start. Everyone has had a turn and they were mainly little stupid dares. It was finally my turn. "Truth or dare?" David asked. I thought about. "Hmmmm.... Dare" I said. David clicked on dare and started bursting out laughing. "What!?" I said. Matt grabbed the phone, laughed then told me my dare. "I dare you to sit on the person to rights lap for the rest of the game" Fuck. Anthony was to my right. "Come on guys" I said "choose a different one" They all shook their head no. Fuck.

I look over at Anthony. He shrugged his shoulders. I got up and sat on Anthony's lap. For some reason i kinda liked it. Everyone was laughing. Thank god it was dark so they couldn't see me blush. Then something happened that made butterflies come in my stomach and made me blush even more. Anthony wrapped his arms around my waist.

Anthony's POV

God why do I like this so much. Everyone was laughing while I was blushing like crazy. Without thinking I did something I don't if I should of done or not. I wrapped my arms around Ian's waist. I wanted to stay like this forever.

It was getting pretty late so we all decided to go. "Melanie, your spending the night right? So we can get ready together" Mari said. "Of corse I have all my stuff in my locker."

I look at Ian. "Dude do you think I can spend the night?" He asked. "I don't think I could handle two girls talking about homecoming." "Yeah sure"

Mari gave a John a hug and said see you tomorrow. He kissed her on the cheek which made her blush. "See you tomorrow beautiful" then he walked to his car. Me, Ian, Mari and Melanie got into Ian's car. "I'll drop you and Mel off at home. I'm spending the night at Anthony's" Ian said. "Okay"

The ride to Ian's house was kinda quiet. The only noise was coming from the radio. We got to Ian's house and we all got out. "I'm just gonna grab a few things then we can go" I nodded following him into the house. I said hello to his parents as I walked in.

After a couple minutes me and Ian were back on the road on our way to my house. I watched him as he drove. The wind blowing threw his hair. His one hand on the steering wheel. His beautiful blue eyes watching the road ahead. God my best friend is beautiful. I can't stop thinking like this. Maybe I do like my best friend. Did he like me back? There was only one way to find out.

I had to kiss him.
