Anthony's POV
I already took Ian out to a movie and now we were on our way to dinner. I wanted him to have an amazing birthday. After dinner, we were gonna go bowling. Yeah, I know bowling is not really that exciting but the day me and Ian met was at a bowling ally when Mari introduced us. So it's kinda special to me.
We already ate dinner and we just order dessert. Me and Ian were sitting across from each holding hands across the table. We have gotten a lot of compliments about how cute of a couple we are but we also got some people mad dogging us. I really don't care what people say as long as I have my blue eyes with me.
"Anthony please tell me this is it. You know I don't want you spoiling me." Ian said. "But I love spoiling you my love." He looked down a blushed. "We are just going one more place after this." "Where?" He asked. "Remember where we first met?" He smiled widely. "The bowling alley? Aww babe." Our dessert came and the waiters sang happy birthday to Ian while he blushed. "Ian babe. I have a present for you." "Anthony re-" "Before you say anything, I know you don't like me spending money on you. This present didn't cost any money. Because it came from the heart. Ian, I wrote a poem for you." He started smiling. I pulled out the poem and unfolded it. I held one of his hands in mine. I felt my heart beating so loud.
"Ian's poem
It wasn't love at first sight
Not then, not yet
I didn't know what love was
When we first metWe got really close
As time would pass
I would see him everyday
On my way to classWhen junior year started
We started talking more
I used to dream
He'd be right outside my doorI started to fall for him
I liked him a lot
I always hated it
When we were apartI finally decided to tell him
How I really felt
When I found out he like me back
My heart could just meltWe finally started dating
My dream was coming true
He says when I'm away
He feels really blueHe is my one only
The only guy for me
There is no where else
I would rather beIan Andrew Hecox
I love you and I hope you know
That I'll always be with you
Wherever you go."Ian's POV
I couldn't hold back my tears. I knew Anthony wrote poems but he would never let me hear one. This was seriously the best present I could of ever got. "Anthony.." He looked up from the paper he eyes watery. "Anthony baby, that was the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me." "So you liked it?" "Babe I fucking love it!" I almost yelled as I leaned over the table I planted a big kiss one his lips. I didn't care about people staring at us. All I cared about was having Anthony, the most perfect boyfriend in the world, by my side.
