Chris: Your student is a-

Before Chris could tell Aizawa about his student, all of a sudden, a crashing sound could be heard in the area. This got the entire room's attention and everyone wondered what caused the sound. Chris commanded Leon to see what was going on, but before he could do that, the viewing room moved down like an elevator near the area where Izuku was trapped in. This brought confusion to everyone as they worry about what was going on.

Leon: What's happening?

Evelyn: . . . It's the final stretch.

The cryptic sentence was universally understood in confusion by everyone, but it was soon replaced by horror as they soon watched the scene unfold.

Izuku's POV

As I was about to fight against the soldiers, a loud crashing sound could be heard from one of the building shops on the other side of the street and soon came a screeching sound from inside. A sound that was too familiar to me and I knew what was about to come.

As I peeked around the corner to see where the origins of the sound was coming from, I saw all the soldiers looking in that direction. Upon further inspection, I realized that they weren't soldiers. They were mercenaries. Well, that explains a lot. I guess Umbrella wanted me dead so much that they are willing to go this far to see it happen.

Once I concluded my examination, that was when the origins of the screeching sound took form, and I knew exactly what it was. It was a licker, and boy was it hungry, but it wasn't just one licker. It was four, and based on their eyeless faces, they were really craving for something to eat, and they weren't vegans. The mercenaries caught sight of the monsters, and I could tell that this was their first time and was most likely going to be their last.

My supposed murderers were frozen to the bone when they first saw the lickers and were horrified by their forms. I was curious to see how they would interact with each other but honestly, I didn't give a fuck as this was my chance to escape. I quietly moved behind the cars and started to walk away. The mercenaries, on the other hand, were too scared to move, I was surprised that they didn't die in the first 10 seconds but I had to get out of the area and the exit was just ahead.

That was when shit hit the fan as one of the mercenaries opened fire but it was directed at me, thankfully, none of the bullets hit me. That was when one of the lickers jumped at the guy and ripped their throat out and started to eat their corpse. The others followed suit and started to fire away. That was when the bloodbath started and the screaming began. I immediately ran towards the exit and that was when I made my mistake as I was only a few feet away and a licker jumped in the way. I stopped before I collided with the four-legged monster as I didn't plan on having my first and last date with one and held my breath.

The thing with lickers is that they are completely blind and rely on hearing to get around. I quietly walked back only to accidentally step on a can which alerted the licker of my presence. It lunged right at me with its body but I was able to dodge it's attack. It was at the last second but not without it snagging my backpack with all my supplies. Thankfully I had my gun and an extra clip with me, but the problem was that I only have one full clip and my gun only has one bullet in the chamber and that wasn't enough to kill a damn licker. Shortly after I saw two mercenaries making a run for the exit only to be killed by some of the lickers. I knew that I have to kill the damn thing to escape if I was to escape in one piece.

I looked around for anything to help deal with the damn monster and I realized that I was in a mall with a glass ceiling. This gave me an idea and I knew this was my only option. I yelled at the licker to get its attention and it started to chase after me as I started running to make it follow me. I had to get it to an open area where the glass can kill the licker but I also need to find a shelter to avoid it as well.
