"You know I'm right. Why don't you just accept my point?"
A young lady of small stature with shimmering wings was seen walking out of one of the partitioned rooms. She was arguing with a tall and well-built fly who was walking behind her.
"I accept your point. What I'm saying is that we won't be able to apply your suggestions for now." The male fly responded.
"And why not? My proposal is more efficient. It's also cost-effective. So, it needs to..." The female fly fired back.
"I agree. But please know that we're already done with the prep for this month's assignment. We can't just pull out our colleagues because there are changes in the system and protocols. You understand that, right?" The male fly interjected before the other can complete her statement.
The female fly was about start her rebuttal when she noticed the team leaders walking towards them with the new-hire in tow. Hence, instead of sharing her piece, she immediately smiled and called out to FLY25.
"Sir, welcome back! How was your trip to the Bahamas?" Was it fun? How was the weather there?" The female fly excitedly asked, seemingly forgetting her squabble with her teammate.
"FLY31, don't ask questions like that. People might think I actually went on a vacation, when in fact I did not." FLY25 responded, sounding a little annoyed.
"Also, why is there shouting so early in the morning? It's just 9 a.m. and you're already fired up." FLY25 said while sternly looking at the two agents involved.
"Well, Sir, it's like this. FLY31 is..." FLY28 started to explain.
"Yes, Sir, it's like this. FLY28 is being stubborn and closed-minded." FLY31 interrupted FLY28 and started explaining her side of the story.
"Sir, I proposed that we re-organize the teams who handle cases. I recommend that we have two office-based researchers, two field agents and one team lead. This configuration will replace the small team of three members only. Of course, new configuration comes with a new system and protocols which will increase our success rate by a hundred and ten percent." FLY31 continued to expound while strongly emphasizing the success rate.
