Raya: I know what you're thinking. Two lone riders in a dystopian world, a land that's been left to waste. How did this world become so broken? Well, that all began 500 years ago, in a place called Kumandra. This is what we used to be when our land was whole, and we lived harmoniously alongside dragons. Magical creatures who brought us water and rain, and peace. It was paradise. But then, the Druun came. A mindless plague that spread like wildfire, multiplying as they consumed life and turned everyone they touched into stone. The dragons fought for us the best they could, but it wasn't enough. That's when the mighty Sisudatu, the last dragon, concentrated all her magic into a gem and blasted the Druun away. Everyone that was turned to stone came back. Except the dragons. All that was left of Sisu was her gem. It should have been this big inspirational moment, where humanity united over her sacrifice. But instead, people being people, they all fought to possess the last remnant of dragon magic. Borders were drawn, Kumandra was divided. We all became enemies, and the gem had to be hidden. But that's not how the world truly broke. That didn't happen until 500 years later, when I came into the story.

Next scene.

The young boy, nimble and agile, navigated through the dense forest with caution. The traps laid out for him were cunningly disguised, but his keen senses allowed him to avoid them with ease. He moved silently, careful not to trigger any of the deadly mechanisms that could end his journey prematurely. As he made his way deeper into the forest, he encountered a series of training dummies. With a swift and precise motion, he unsheathed his axe and began slicing through them, one by one.

As he approached an even larger dummy, it lunged at him. The boy deftly dodged its attack and, with a powerful swing of his axe, sliced it cleanly in half. Just as he thought he was in the clear, a group of actual warriors appeared before him. Their leader, a towering figure with a menacing scowl, stepped forward.

Leader: It seems that you have made it far, fearless prince, but your journey has finally come to an end.

Y/n: We will see about that. Give me all you've got.

The leader signaled his men to attack, and they charged at the boy with a fierce determination. The young warrior, however, was not easily intimidated. He deftly dodged their axe swings and delivered a series of powerful kicks, taking down several of them in quick succession. He was strong, and his resolve was unwavering. He wasn't going down without a fight.

Leader: So, you've made short work of my men, I see. But let's see how well you do against a real warrior. Come and get some.

The boy, unfazed, accepted the challenge. He and the leader faced off, their axes poised for battle. The leader swung first, but the boy ducked beneath the blow and countered with a swift strike of his own. Their axes clashed, the sound echoing through the forest.

Leader: I'll be honest, I've underestimated you.

Y/n: You know what they say, never underestimate your opponent, or it just might come back to bite you in the...

Before he could finish his sentence, the leader kicked him backward. The boy quickly regained his footing and kicked the leader's foot, causing him to stumble. The leader, however, was relentless. He tripped the boy up and knocked him to the ground.

Leader: Did you really think that you could stop me?

Y/n: No, I just thought I could whip up a little distraction.

The leader looked confused, and then, suddenly, the boy tossed his axe at a nearby tree. A cascade of fake rocks came tumbling down, narrowly missing the leader. The leader chuckled and removed his disguise, revealing himself to be the chief of Spine. He had been training the boy for this moment all along.
