Chapter 3: Sinon

Our poor girl didn't deserve that ngl. But hey, at least she'll have someone better to have before long, Y/n! :)

Y/n's POV

After Kurito had logged off I was left on my own. I tried to think of what exactly I could do that would allow me to be entertained and not just get off after simple basics of the game. I guess I should try and get familiar with the world of GGO. Maybe I should walk around a bit. It might help a little, who knows.

Leaving the shooting range I would look around at my surroundings. There were people around just about everywhere I looked. Many high leveled players and many newbies who were either resting or talking with their buddies. I probably should try and get to know people a little more, make some friends instead of only ever waiting for Kurito to come on.

Starting to walk around I would clear my head, just allowing myself to walk aimlessly around. I had no idea how to even approach people here, but hopefully this will let me think more on what I should do to approach others. I doubt any of my old comrades are playing this game really. It's been a while since I last seen them though.

As I thought to myself, I was suddenly pulled out of my thoughts when I felt a tap on my shoulder. Turning to look over my shoulder I seen a man with a black bandana over his brown hair and matching brown eyes to go with. Raising a brow I stopped and turned to face him properly.

"You look lost man. I can tell you're new as well. Are you looking for some help at all?" I would stare at him for a few seconds. This guy seemed familiar when I looked at him. I could have sworn I seen him before. But where was it exactly? "Yeah, I'm pretty new to this game. My friend just got off and I'm currently trying to figure out what to do." The brown haired guy gave a confident smile as he outstretched his hand.

"If you want, I can give you a hand! I don't mind helping out a new player here and there. Not to mention, I think you would like to join our group rookie! There's plenty of hot chick's in our group~" he had suddenly threw his arm around my shoulder, speaking softly the last part like a giddy child to me.

"Heh," I chuckled softly, "Good to know I guess. You can call me U/n." The brown haired man shook my hand and nodded, "The name's Klein. I'm the best player in all of GGO, every lady knows my name!" Some people who were walking by stared him down, whispering and asking who he was. Poor guy.

"A-Anyways, come on. Follow me and I'll show you around before introducing you to my group." I would nod in acknowledgement before starting to follow Klein. His name even sounded very familiar. It feels like I have heard of it before. I should probably just ignore it for now and listen to what he has to say.

After a few minutes if walking we finally arrived at a large building. Klein had shown me around the hub of the game (I forget what it's called) and where all of the shops and stuff are. Looking up at this tall building I couldn't help but kt9ice it was actually rather well kept. This apparently is where all the players stay in terms of in game living.

Following Klein inside we came to what seemed like some sort of teleporter. When we stepped on it we were suddenly taken up to the door of a room. Klein knocked on the door and after a bit of rustling and voices from the other side of the door, it opened to reveal a brunette girl with brown eyes just like Klein. "Klein! Your finally here! Oh? Who's that?" Klein smiled and proceeded to throw his arm over my shoulder yet again.

"This is U/n, he'll be joining us for the day! He might even end up being a new member to our group if he likes us!" The brunette smile sweetly at me and stepped aside so we could enter. Why did this girl look so familiar as well? She reminds me of that one girl from SAO. What was her name again? I can't remember, but I know she was pretty popular in regards to her speed and the fact she worked with the Knights of the Blood Oath. This girl looks exactly like her.
