Vox and Shoto were sitting on the couch watching a movie when Shoto felt something heavy on his shoulder; Vox fell asleep mid-way through the movie and was laying on Shoto's shoulder. Shoto kissed the top of Vox's head and lied his head on his boyfriend's. The next day, Vox woke up on the couch with Shoto nowhere to be seen. Vox got up and yawned before rubbing his eyes and tying his hair up. Hearing something from the kitchen, he got up and followed the smell, there, he found Shoto with headphones on and humming a melody, not noticing the man behind him. Vox went to Shoto and hugged him from behind, nuzzling his face into his boyfriend's back. "Morning hun" Shoto whispered. Vox replied with a short "hm.." Shoto held Vox's hand and kissed it softly. "Now, I need to make us food, go sit on the couch, food will be done in a bit." Vox shook his head and held Shoto tighter as he giggles, "Alright I guess you can stay" Minutes later, the food is done and they both eat. "You woke up quite late today" Shoto suggested. "What time is it?" Vox asked, taking another bite of his food "6pm." Shoto replied. Vox almost choked on his food and said "HUH? WHY DIDN'T YOU WAKE ME UP EARLIER" "Because you need better sleep, don't think I haven't noticed." Shoto said, holding Vox's hand. "You've been overworking yourself, I see you looking exhausted when you get home but you try to hide it" Vox went silent, looking into his boyfriend's eyes. "I understand that you have a lot to do but don't overwork yourself, it's not good" Shoto said, worriedly as Vox nods. "How about you have a break today. We can order food, watch a movie, cuddle, anything you want; except for work" Vox nodded, softly smiling.
The rest of the day was all Shoto said; no work, only relaxation. ❦
