Break In Crossover

Chapter 7

What seemed like a good night sleep for some, it was a long, cold, and boring night for others. The characters who did sleep woke up around 7am.

Daisy: "Good morning everyone. Anything happen last night?"

Rapunzel: "No. They probably knew that we were still down here and they didn't want to attack us again."

Puss in Boots: "It might be safe to return upstairs."

Zeta: "Make sure you have your baseball bats in case they try ambushing us."

Eugene, Judy, Mr. Incredible, and Shrek walk upstairs to see if the coast was clear. After minutes of looking around, they let the others know that it's safe. They walk upstairs and see that not much damage was done since they retreated downstairs the previous day.

Debbie: "Mom, Dad. I'm hungry."

Mighty Eagle: "I don't think we have any food."

Agnes: "I'm hungry too."

Steve: "Hungry!"

Steve looks for gummy bears on Agnes, but she didn't have any. Then other characters began saying that they were hungry too. Linda looks inside the refrigerator.

Linda: "There's no food."

Sam: "They must have taken it all away while we were in the basement."

Donald: "Or we ate it all instead of conserving it."

Celia: "Wait, wasn't there a store nearby?"

Mike: "I don't think it's a good idea to go outside now. With all that's been happening, it might not be safe."

Ericka: "I'm afraid we might have no choice."

Goofy: "So who's gonna go?"

Mickey, Roxanne, Eugene, Anna, Nick, Judy, Colt, Mr. Incredible, Shrek, Mavis, Red, Linda, and Katie agree to go.

Donkey: "Bring some waffles back here if you find any."

Shrek: "No promises, Donkey. I'll see what I can find."

Mr. Incredible and Shrek remove the boards that were blocking the door. Rick got his #3 Robertson head screwdriver to help bring down the boards. Once they step outside, they couldn't believe what they saw.

Mickey: "Gosh. Look at this place."

Red: "All of the houses were broken into. And it looks like no one survived."

Katie: "It's worse than the robot apocalypse my family had to go through."

Mavis: "Do you think those guys got the staff members too?"

Eugene: "I would imagine so. I mean, we tried calling them for help and nothing happened."

Colt: "You would think that a resort would have security or a police force or something."

Anna: "It doesn't seem like a resort anymore. It feels like this place was abandoned."

Red: "Looks like the ruins of Bird Island after the Pigs stole all the eggs. Only this is worse, because nobody died."

They walked down the road slowly before arriving at the grocery store. When they got there, it was also abandoned. They look around inside and see that no one was in there. Roxanne checks behind the cash register to see if anyone was there. Nothing to be seen.

Roxanne: "Do we just take what we need?"

Linda: "It's not stealing I don't think."

Nick: "It wouldn't be right if we didn't leave some cash here."
