The Snow Queen and her Viking

Chapter 6

Later that day. Erik is still sleeping soundly in his comfortable royal guest king size bed while her mother sleeps in the next room.

His wonderful sleep finally over when Gerta, the middle aged woman butler wakes him up for breakfast. "G- Good morning your majesty. I've been order to wake up for the usual royal breakfast at the royal dining hall." Said her with shaky voice

Erik still in his deep sleep and not aware of the first wake up call. The second wake up call, Gerta knocks his door and repeat the same sentences a little louder.

Erik finally open his eyes and get back up. He rubs his eyes and wipe his dry drool of his mouth. He got out of the bed and stretch his proceeding to do some push ups, squats and sit ups just to keep the blood pumping.

He went downstairs heading to the dining hall. He enters it and find that all the royal Arendelle family already at their seats even Olaf enjoying the food. His mother also already at her seat.

He scan at every faces on the hall just for the refreshment. He look at the table to find an empty seat just to get annoyed when he finds out that the only seat is besides Elsa.

"Mother, can we switch seat?" Ask him. "No. Just sit there. She doesn't bite." Replied her with a little smirk. "But-". "Yes don't worry. I don't bite" said Elsa out of nowhere without looking at him. He sigh and sits there anyway.

Their breakfast session goes silently like a funeral. The atmosphere is very tense and gloomy when everyone's attention are focused at Erik and Elsa.

Agnarr breaks the silence," Anna, you have exciting plans today?". "Yes. Me and Kristoff are going to some place called Hartingthon for our honeymoon. Isn't that right honey?" Ask Anna. "Absolutely dear. After all week working, a little vacation won't hurt much right father?" Said Kristoff. Agnarr smile,"Well good luck for both of you".

"Elsa? Any plans today?". "I think I'm heading to the library. Finish my book that i found the other day" answers Elsa. "What about you Erik?". "Don't know" answers him shortly.

Elsa puts down her fork and spoon then stare at him with anger for his rudeness. "There's so much places you can explore here. We have a garden that you already know, aphiaries, fish pool and many more." Add Iduna. "I'll think about it" still with the same answer.

"Don't bother father. He'll never appreciate what's in front of him. That's why he always unhappy in his life." Said Elsa coldly.

"One should not create assumptions before he walk through his path first" said Erik. "Then you could share your story with us so that we know" said Elsa.

"I rather not. I don't trust all of you". Elsa pouted when he said that. "If you don't want to share, the fine! Keep it to yourself!" Said Elsa with annoyed tone. Erik just keep eating without saying anything. Erik being silent make Elsa a little sad.

Lyra gives a head signal to Agnarr. "Well perhaps we can finish everything here and get dressed because we have a big day today. We take our leave" urges Agnarr. Everyone understand the signal except Erik and Elsa so they clean up their table and leave.

Now that Erik and Elsa are the only ones that still at the table. They continue to eat their food silently. The vibe are getting awkward.

Elsa tries to speak up. "Your mother is a nice woman. Please don't hate her. Everything she did was for your own good".  Erik just stayed silent while sipping his coffee. Elsa is very upset with his attitude but she knew that his reaction will turn out like that. She clean her plate and gets up.
