Chapter 2: Discussion

Elsa is in the library doing her favourite entertainment passionately reading books that she found that pique her heart. A book of a Prince and Princess forced to married for their kingdoms peace and safety. Elsa read it with a squint of smile as she chuckled when she reach the slight comedy part of the book.

Unfortunately her peace moments are over when the librarian anounces her about the King and Queen arrival, "Princess Elsa, Your Majesties".

"Thank you Merlin. You don't need to make an announcement to her about our arrival."said King Agnarr. "Thank you Merlin."said Queen Iduna. "Your welcome, Your Majesties". She bows down and goes back to her work station.

"So how was the book, dear? Splendid?" Ask Queen Iduna. Elsa chuckled,"Quite interesting. I like the storyline." Answers her. "Well glad you having a good time. Anna wouldn't last less than 10 minutes in here. Let alone a whole day." Jokes Agnar."Well that makes our dear Anna, Anna right?" Said Elsa. Three of them laugh quietly as they know that it isn't appropriate to make a loud noise in the library.

Then The King's and Queen's face turn into serious back. "Elsa, there's something we want to discuss with you." King Agnarr speak up first. Elsa's face also turn serious on worrying about what her father is about to say.

King Agnar take a deep breath before saying anything. "Have you change your mind about getting married?".

Elsa's body stopped for a moment. Her eyes widened as big as her eyes can go. She lets out a sigh,"I knew it. I knew you'd never let this topic go off so easily. As i told you before, i don't want to get married." Said Elsa.

"Elsa. We know it's a hard topic for you but you have to think about your future. You are not our little Elsa anymore. You're already a beautiful 24 years old princess. You're a beautiful woman and alot of men out there willing to do anything to be your husband. We don't want you to end up in your 30s without anyone by your side. That would be so heartbreaking". Said king Agnarr.

"Im sorry father, mother. I stayed alone and single as by my on desire. I'm not ready to get married. I'm not ready to be someone's wife. I like it just the way they are. Alone and free, following my own will.".

"But Elsa dear, we know that. We just worried about you. Every man of other countries tried to propose to you but you rejected all of them. This may affect our diplomatic relationship between them as well" said Iduna.

"I stand firmly on my decision about not getting married anytime sooner. All of the princes from another kingdom just went after the throne.I can feel the greed in them with my power. That's why I rejected all of them. Take Hans for example."

Agnarr and Iduna look at each other as a sign of disappointment on their faces. "Don't worry mother, father. When the time comes, i will be handed the marriage as you have been waiting for. It's just not now. I will make sure that my future husband are not driven by greed to marry me for the throne. I promise you." Assures Elsa.

"Well if that's your decision, we will respect it. We're sorry if we're being a pushover and try to make you happy by telling you to get married in such a hurry. Turns out it makes you more unhappier. Do as you please as long as you happy Elsa" said Iduna

"Thank you father and mother for being so understanding. Now i have a book to finnish so..will you excuse me". "Oh right away, your majesty. Oh and don't forget. Tomorrow we have a guest coming over. Dress nice" said Agnarr

"Will do" replies Ela short. Then she continues her reading with peace on her new book.
