"Now passing mystic falls"
Home at last. I thought while passing the sign. No more brutal beatings. No more fighting. But most of all, No more killing.
Watching the boarding school burn down, made me happy that I wouldn't get hurt again. That I wouldn't get abandoned again. It brought me the closure I needed. The benefits of the school burning down are that I get to see my parents and friends again. The downside, I get to see my parents again.
Now I know that most people would be excited to see their parents after going away for a long time but see the thing with me is that my parents, themselves, sent me there with no hesitation. But I guess deserved it after everything I put them through financially.
Because I was so nervous to see my parents, I decided to head over to Caroline's house. So here I am, on her porch wondering if I should knock, ring the door bell, or just go home.
After 12 minutes of arguing with myself, I decided to knock.
*knock* *knock* *knock*
Oml....you know what maybe I should just turn around and run before she op-
My thoughts are cut of when a blond opens the front door with a smile on her face.
"Irene? Honey is that you? My god look how big you've gotten. Wow you're so grown now." Liz, Caroline's mom, said with a wide smile. "Hi miss Forbes. It's been a while. How are you? How's Caroline? Is she here? I kinda wanna surprise her with my arrival." "I've been better sweetheart. Caroline isn't here but you could go surprise her and Bonnie at the grill. They said they were going to meet up with Elena."
Ugh. Elena Gilbert. Annoying, two faced, manipulative...I can go on all day
"Oh well looks like I'll stop by. It was nice seeing you miss Forbes." I said with a smile "you too sweetie. Be careful ok. There's a lot of animal attacks going on right now."
Death? Here?......yeah right. It's mystic falls nothing bad ever happens here.

When I arrived at the grill, I was so nervous to see Caroline and Bonnie after 7 years of not being together. Do they even remember me? Do they still like me? Is the bond still there? Are we still friends?
Questions kept popping up in my head that made me even more nervous. But then my eyes connected with these icy blue eyes. A guy by the bar was staring at me. Was he hot? Yes. Would I ever go for him? No. And yet here this guy was, walking up to me. "Hey. My name is Damon salvatore and yours is..." "not inte-" my words are cut of when someone hugs me so tight I thought my ribs broke for a second there. "OMG! IRENE! What are you doing here? Omg you finally got out! Now we can hang out again. Oh how I've missed my best friend." Caroline said while pulling away from the hug. "Hey care. I've missed you too. More than you can even imagine." I told her as I felt eyes watching us. I turn my head to see bonnie, Elena , and some guy with hazel green like eyes. "BONNIE!" "IRENE!" We both said at the same time while running towards each other.
We hugged each other tightly before letting go. "Oh Bonnie, no time for tears. You gonna make me cry too." I said as bonnie chuckled lightly. "I'm just really happy to see you after all these years. I mean we didn't even get to say goodbye before your parents shipped you off." Bonnie said wiping her face. "Hey, come join us. I'm sure they didn't have the grills cheese fries in Russia." I laughed. If only they knew. "You're right I haven't had cheese fries in 7 years." Caroline pulled up a chair besides her from another table she got for us three, leaving Elena and green eyed man at their own table. " come and sit between me and Bonnie."
As I was about to walk over towards the table, Damon Salvatore spoke up " I'm sorry but who are you." He said with narrowed eyes. "Back off Damon. She my best friend so if you hurt her I'll hurt you even worse. And you know how much worse is." Bonnie said before leading me towards the table leaving behind an angry Damon.

Bonnie, Caroline, and I have been talking for the past 2 hours. Caroline telling me the latest gossip and Bonnie catching me up on stuff. " ok so that green eyed dude is Stefan Salvatore aka Elena's boyfriend. Damon Salvatore is Stefan's brother who also likes Elena. Caroline dated Matt Donovan and now they're complicated. Did I leave anything out?"
They both chuckled. "Uh yeah. You totally ignored me when I said you should come to the masquerade party at the lockwoods tomorrow." Caroline said. "Yes because the first my Hispanic parents are going to do is let me go to a masquerade party." After I said that, I realized something.
Oh my god
My parents. I forgot I had PARENTS.
"Holy shit guys I forgot that I have to go tell my parents and sister im home." I said panicked.
"You haven't told them that you're here yet?!" Bonnie said. " well I was scared...do not give me those looks. You don't have Hispanic parents." I said as Bonnie and Caroline gave me funny looks.
"Listen im going to go home and hope it doesn't end with you guys coming to my funeral. I'll see you guys tomorrow. Have a goodnight. Also I'll see what I can do about the masquerade party." I said as I hear two "good night's" and "ok's"
Oh well here goes nothing
God help me please.
