"Well Nezu, I'm happy to inform you that your lease agreement checks out. I still don't understand why you sent this to me and not a lawyer though, other than for the purposes of checking up on me." Tsukauchi replied, chuckling as he held the phone to his ear.

"Oh I already consulted our legal team. I simply wanted to show transparency to the police." Nezu said, feigning nonchalance.

"Ironic. Showing transparency and asking me to cover up past crimes. That's quite two-faced of you, Nezu." Tsukauchi joked, before feeling his heart drop to the bottom of his chest, swearing he could feel it thud against his ribcage like a heavy boulder crashing into the ground.

"Are you accusing me of something, Naomasa." Nezu stated, a flicker of his hatred showing itself, before he cleared his throat, and his mind.

"So, have you found anything about Krish?" He asked, hearing Naomasa's sigh of relief through the phone.

"Well, kind of. I finally found his records, although that's stretching it. We have a copy of his birth certificate. We can confirm his full name as Krish Chikamiya, and that he was born on the 11th of December, making him 16 years old. However, his mother put an alias, as her name doesn't show up on any family registers." Naomasa explained.

"Well, it'll be a bit odd for him to be enrolled in the first year, but a one-year difference shouldn't be too jarring. What about his quirk?" Nezu asked, surprised to mention that Naomasa hadn't said anything about it yet.

"Well that's just it. He, technically, doesn't have one. There's no issuing of a quirk on his record. He has no doctor's notes, no quirk and no enrollment in any school. All we know is that he was born to at least a single mother. But this is where things get good. I checked the alias on the police's database, and then the hero commission's database. Turns out, the hero commission had a secretary with the same name as that alias, at least, that's what her job was listed as. I checked the 'secretary's' records, and they were censored, except for a signature. We asked some intelligence agencies, and they found the signature, and it belonged to a couple. Their names are Hanae and oddly enough Maaya, which is a man's name. I looked them up on the hero commission's site, and it came up with nothing, but then I used an old version of their site and found an old sealed document." Naomasa explained, slightly out of breath from that.

"Wow, you must have done a lot of work. Did you look at the medical records of Maaya and Hanae?" Nezu inquired, surprised to see how many hoops Naomasa had to jump through to find that information... all for a sealed document.

"What are they hiding? His parents were involved with the Hero Commission, and he hates heroes? Either that's a scary turn of events, or there's something else going on here, something that I'm missing." Nezu thought to himself.

"I did, and they were both listed as Quirkless, so now I'm questioning if I made a mistake somewhere, or if the birth certificate had an incorrect name, because his family is impossible to find, because even his supposed "parents" based off an alias, and an old, buggy version of the Hero Commission's site gives us two people who were quirkless and had no children, and who died 4 years after Krish was born." Naomasa admitted.

"Well, that's certainly an odd twist of events. Send me that sealed document, I'll make some calls to the Hero Commission and ask them if they can unseal it." Nezu stated, as he said his goodbyes to Naomasa and hung up the phone.

"Now I know for a fact they're hiding something. They've buried their names too well for it to be some kind of error. Krish's parents and the Hero Commission have a connection for sure, but what could it be...?" Nezu pondered, as he got up from his office chair and stared out of the window, as Cementoss was hard at work, building a new part of the UA campus.
