"You. You're fighting Krish next." Aizawa said, looking at Tokoyami, who stoically stood up, silently walking over to Krish and staring him down.

"May the best fighter win." Tokoyami said as Krish got into a stance, feeling like this fight wouldn't be as easy as the others, waiting for Aizawa to count them down.

"He's clearly strong up close, so I should stay back and fight in the long range." Tokoyami thought to himself.

Luckily enough, his strategy matched his strengths, as he jumped back whilst simultaneously releasing Dark Shadow to attack Krish at full force.

Once again, Krish avoided the attack, finding that Dark Shadow wasn't as fast as Sato was from such a long-range, but what he didn't expect was for Dark Shadow to be able to curve at a humanly impossible angle, giving Krish no time to recover and dodge.

Putting his arms up, Krish activated his quirk, feeling the energy flow through his body as he braced himself for Dark Shadow's next attack.

Feeling Dark Shadow land an attack, Tokoyami ran towards Krish, hoping to force him into a corner, seeing that all he could do was block or evade. Dark Shadow barraged Krish with a flurry of fierce attacks, all of which he could barely evade and block, even with the minimal use of his quirk.

From the corner of his eyes, he saw Tokoyami run at him, instantly realising what his plan was, and that he had to do something to get out of it.

Gritting his teeth, he channeled more of his quirk through his body whilst simultaneously releasing it, using the excess energy like a wave of energy emanating from an epicentre, as if he was creating a barrier or forcefield.

Pushed back by the force of Krish's attack, Tokoyami stood his ground, using Dark Shadow to support himself as Krish created space between himself and his opponent.

After another few seconds, Krish stopped his attack, using a bit more energy than he would have liked, but it wasn't exactly a rare resource. Charging up his quirk again, Krish put more power into his body this time, as he leaped at Tokoyami, attacking for the first time in all of his fights.

Krish's new speed threw Tokoyami off guard, as Dark Shadow took the full brunt of Krish's energy-enhanced punch, with the concussive force sending Tokoyami back. Not one to be deterred from his goals, Tokoyami fought back, as Dark Shadow flew back at Krish.

However, this time Krish stopped Dark Shadow with his bare hands, smiling, as the attack felt light, despite him only using around a quarter of his full power.

Well, a quarter of the power he could control.

Getting excited at the prospect of a true challenge, Krish looked at Tokoyami with a fierce look of determination, as he charged up a blast, before firing it at Dark Shadow, who whimpered and froze in place, as the dense ball of light was its proverbial Kryptonite.

The attack landed head-on, forcing Dark Shadow to retreat, against Tokoyami's commands, but as five more blasts came careening at it, Dark Shadow had enough and left Tokoyami with no choice but to stop using it.

Now on the back foot, Tokoyami did his best to avoid the blasts, which to his credit, he did, although not completely unscathed, as one ripped through part of his cape.

Sweating, Tokoyami rushed Krish, arms raised. He knew that in a close-quarters fight, he would lose in an instant, but if Krish stopped fighting at a long range and using his blasts, then Dark Shadow could be used again.

But Krish wasn't thinking about a delicate, well thought out strategy. No, the only thing on his mind was seeing just where this fight would go. He wanted more of this challenge, and he itched to see the depths of Tokoyami's strength, forgetting that he was fighting a mere first year.
