I fidgited anxiously with the sleeves of my jacket pulling it tighter around me. It was my first day at a new school. A chance to start over. A chance to maybe just maybe be a kid again. I fallowed nervously behind the principal as she walked me to my new class room. I felt like I was gonna puke. Room 301 was more like hell on wheels than a fourth grade classroom. I squeezed my eyes shut and walked in taking my seat at a desk marked with my name. The name "Bella McCoy." Screamed at me in bright neon pink letters. I swallowed sharply ripping it off my desk. "Please anything but pink." I thought to myself. I stuffed it into my pocket and walked over to the carpet where the rest of the kids sat reading. I grabbed a book off of the bookshelf and went to sit in the most succluded place possible or so I thought. I slid under the teachers desk as far as I could when suddenly I heard a small voice screech at me. " Hey what in the hell do you think you're doing?" I looked up to see a small boy about my age nestled in the corner. He had orange red hair and greenish hazel eyes. He wore a blue shirt a pair of jeans and glasses. "Reading what does it look like I'm doing." I replied both confused and annoyed. "Im Bella." I said looking down. The strange boy smiled at me warmly. "Garrett, hey you're weird." I smiled back. "So are you." He laughed. "Then I guess we have to be best friends then huh?" I laughed too and shrugged. "yeah I guess so."
