Sunday. A perfect day for a date, I was getting ready for Blade's and I'd date, when suddenly, I got a text from him letting me know I need to wear something comfortable. With that information, I decided on my cherry dress with my black strap heels and my hair half up half down.

After doing my makeup, I sent Blade a text letting him known that I'm done. He replied that he would be here in a couple of minutes. I was looking myself over in the mirror checking on the makeup and clothes I had decided to wear. I then heard the bell go off and I remember that my parents are home and they're gonna be the ones answering....that was just great.
I could hear my mom answering the door already. I quickly grabbed my bag and phone and head downstairs. She better not embarrass me in-front of him.
30 minutes before: Blade's pov:
I finished with my shower, as I get out, I wrapped a towel around my waist and head back inside my room and head inside the closet to look for some nice clothes for the date.
Finally after standing there for 5 minutes, I picked out a red button up shirt with the sleeves up and the top 3 buttons undone, black ripped pants and my dress up shoes. I also put on some jewelry, which was some rings and my chain. After I was done, I sent Maddy a text that I would be there in a couple of minutes.

On my way to pick up Maddy, I stopped at the same flower shop to buy her flowers for her, I decided on some red and purple for her and some flowers for her mother too in-case she might be home.
When I left the flower shop I started driving again in my matte black sports car with music at medium. I could see the house from where I was. When I get there, I parked the car and grab the two flowers bouquet, got out and closed the door, I walked up the steps of the house, nervousness creeping up my spine, and my palms were sweating a bit.
I press the bell button and stood up straight with both flowers on both my hands, after what seems like a minute, the door opened revealing who I could assume is Maddy's mother "Hi I'm here for Maddy?" I asked, smiling down at the woman "Oh! of course she's almost done." she looked me up and down examining me "This are for you Mrs. Perez." I handed her the white roses.
"Oh thank you dear, no one has ever gotten me flowers except my husband, and that was long ago." she thanked me " No problem." I replied, just then I heard footsteps coming from the stairs meaning Maddy was on her way, when I looked up at Maddy standing on the stairs, hair nicely resting over her shoulders, makeup beautiful as always yet each time she looks more beautiful than the last.
"Whoa you look beautiful." I stared down at Maddy smiling, blush rushing t my cheeks, my eyes are practically hearts "You look really handsome." she complimented back connecting our eyes, the sudden connection made my heart skip some beats that it felt like I was having a heart attack.
"This are for you." I handed her the red and purple roses "They're beautiful" she took them from my hand "I'll be right back" she said walking away, just then Maddy's dad came over to his wife and I. "And who might you be young man?" He asked, examining me from head to toe "Hello sir my name's Blade Carson nice to meet you." I stick my hand out for him to shake, which he did.
He took my hand in a strong grip and so I matched his grip "Good grip." he complimented looking up at me "Thanks" I said, I noticed him looking behind me probably looking at my car "So what do you do?" He asked, his arms crossing in-front f his chest "Oh I'm still preparing myself to take over my dad's company Carson's Tech" "oh the big company?" He asked interest picking through "Yes sir." I nodded.
"I'm gonna go straight the point. What are your intentions with my daughter?" He asked "Well I really like her and I don't ever wish to hurt her sir, if anything, I wish t protect her." I said confident, he narrowed his eyes at me.
"Dad stop it." Maddy placed her hand n his back, appearing from behind them "It's ok, Darling, he's just trying to protect you," I said ''See, he gets it, unlike that other guy, what was his name again? Joe?'' Maddy rolled her eyes with a small smile on her lips. "Ready to go?" I asked "Yeah let's go" she nodded, I stick my hand out again for her to take "Let's go. Goodbye Mrs. and Mr. Perez" I waved at them "Bring her back before 12." her father said, his eyes piercing into mine "No problem" I replied before leading Maddy towards my car and opening the door for her "Thank you" she smiled "No problem" I shook my head before closing the door and going over to my side.
We were chatting and making jokes, I was holding her hand in the middle of the console, my fingers stroking her knuckles softly "Are you ever going to tell me where we're going?" She asked "It's a surprise darling." I said smiling at her, I could see from the corner of my eye her rolling her eyes with a smile on her lips.
"We're almost there" I informed her "Finally" she mumbled under her breath "You're so cute" I looked over at her for 5 seconds before focusing on the road again.
A couple of minutes later we finally made it to our destination which was a restaurant, I turn off the car before getting out and walking over to her side to help her out. Her eyes widen slightly when she looked at the restaurant "This place looks fantastic Blade" We walked inside, her eyes shining once she looked around, seeing how fancy/casual it looked "I know right" I nodded at her.
"Dia duit tábla le haghaidh dhá áirithinte faoin ainm Blade Carson" (Hi table for two, reservations under the name of Blade Carson ).I spoke in Irish, one thing about me I used to study Irish before moving here, it's one of the perks of being the son of a business who will take over when he's old enough and will have to travel around to do business with other men .
"Ar ndóigh, a dhuine uasail lean mé le do thoil" ("Of course sir, follow me please.") the man replied leading us to a table outside "I didn't know you spoke Irish" Maddy looked at me in amazement "No one does, banphrionsa beag" I smirked "What did that mean?" She asked, eyebrows furrowing slightly "It means little princess" she chuckles.
"What would you like to order Ma'am and Sir?" Asked the waiter, I gestured to Maddy to go first "Surprise me" she said to the waiter "And for a drink can I please have the red wine?" she asked "Right away ma'am, and for you sir?" He asked looking over at me "I would like for you to surprise me as well and for a drink I'll take the same thing as her, thank you" I said to the waiter.
After we got our food we talked more about ourselves, made some jokes, and just talk about anything that would come to mind.
It was 11 pm when we left "I had fun on our date today." she said looking at me as well as taking my big hand in her small one "Me too" I smiled down at her "Come on I have to take you home, I don't want your dad to kill me or not like me " I said helping her get inside the car. ''I think he likes you.'' she laughed.
The ride back was in a comfortable silence. 20 minutes later we made it and just in time too, it was 11:30 pm. I get out and help her like I always do "I hope we can do this again?" I asked her "Definitely" she nodded not before wrapping her arms around my neck pulling me down to her height slightly and her standing on her tip toes, placing a sweet small kiss on my lips. After what felt like a good forever, she pulled away from me leaving me breathless and wanting for more "I don't think I'll ever get tired of that" I leaned down, a cheeky smile plastered on my lips "Me either" she said with the same smile on her face.
After I left her in her house I made it back to mine and changed my clothes before getting in bed. Today was a good day, that was my last thought before giving into the tiredness that overcame me.
