georges pov :

when i finally arrived in the orlando airport, i was instantly struck with the loud cries of children, laughs of friends and the yells of people looking for others, i couldn't let it bother me though. i had to find sapnap.

i went over to the luggage conveyer which seemed to take forever to pass around my three suitcases. i was here though, and sapnap was parked outside. he told me to wait by the doors with my camera recording while he walked in, and that i did. he came in with a huge whiteboard with my name on it, how embarrassing.

"georgeee!!! you're here finally"

"i made ittt"

we both grinned at eachother in a comfortable silence for a few moments before sapnap asked me,

"well do you wanna go see dream or stay here all day?"

and with that we went off to sapnaps car, i had my small suitcase and sapnap had my two bigger ones.

sapnaps car was so nice, matte black. i wish i had one like that, maybe dream will buy me one. joking.. maybe?

i headed over to what i thought would be the passenger side according to british laws. of course, america had them the other way.

"are you stupid or something?" he laughed as i walked around to the other side.

"no i swear i'm not! we have them the other way in england. i'm not that dumb fucking hell sap"

i was kind of embarrassed but it was just one of those things, there's gonna be loads that i don't know about florida.

time skip 30 minutes, sap and george are still driving home.
i recommend playing "mask" during the drive!

sapnap reached over to the aux cord and connected it to his phone, searching for one specific song..

"the best singer/song writer of all time"

the intro to a song i know all too well started playing, "mask" by dream. me and sapnap looked at eachother in unision.

"I WEAR A MASK WITH A SMILE FOR HOURS AT A TIME."

the music played on and we sang along, soon came the bit we could scream our hearts out to..

"SO YOU CAN SEE IM TRYING, ILL JUST KEEP ON SMILING IM GOOD, IVE BEEN WEARING A SMILE FOR SO LO-"

yeah i messed up the lyrics and sap looked at me like an idiot, oh well!

we decided to facetime karl and quackity to see our reactions

requesting to facetime karl 🙄 ...

after 3 rings he answered and his reaction to see us in florida made me, he was so happy for us!

requesting to facetime quackity 🫃 ...

quackity picked up instantly, as we all yelled hello to one another,

"i'm in florida!!"  i shouted through the speaker.

he was as happy as we were, that made this feel even more real.

sapnap being the man he is thought it would be funny to joke around a bit, we were far away from home now anyway..

"it's not real i'm in the uk"

quackity definitely sounded disappointed for a few minutes until he realised the sarcasm,

"please- what the- why? what the-"

then we hung up. i could see the house

our house.

our home.
