Kyle's POV
I was standing outside the chemistry lab talking to Rachel, my annoyingly nosy ex-girlfriend. "So Kyle, you doing anything tonight?' She asked, stepping closer to me. "Yeah, staying the hell away from you" I replied, walking away into the chemistry lab. I quickly scanned the classroom looking for the new girl everyone had been talking about. As I noticed her in the back of the room I saw her glittering ice blue eyes. Oh God those eyes were perfect. The instant I saw the icy glitter they threw I felt a sparkle in my stomach. I knew she was perfect, unflawed in all ways possible. I had to have her. I walked over and introduced myself. "Hi I'm Kyle, what's your name?" I asked kindly. "Zoe" was her quiet response. I knew then that I had to win her over no matter what. "What a lovely name, it suits your gorgeous ice blue eyes" I said, laying it on thick. The class continued as normal. I ended up giving Zoe the nickname Snow White. When I said it was because they were both pale beauties her face got this gorgeous plum blush that made her pale skin glow. God she was perfect. Just passing her in the halls made my heart flutter. I continued my day as usual, unfortunately, Zoe and I only have two classes together, chemistry and fiction writing. I stumbled tiredly into my final class of the day, fiction writing. I scanned the room and groaned when I realized the only two open seats were near Rachel. I walked to the seat farthest away from her and sat down. "Hey" Rachel purred as she ran her ringers through my hair. I flinched at her touch and scooted away. "Oh come now Kyle, you miss me and we both know it" she whispered. "One upon a time I did Rachel. But now, hell, now I want you to leave me alone" I hissed. Rachel huffed and sat back in her seat. The door opened and Zoe walked in. I waved her over and she sat next down next to me. I smiled and resisted the urge to brush back the piece of hair that had fallen out of her ponytail. "So. Welcome to fiction writing. I am Professor Pepper but you all can call me Pepper. I expect great things from this class. Now, on to our first assignment, I want you all to write a poem about something you feel strongly about." Our professor said. I glanced over at Zoe only to see her head bent over her purple notebook, scribbling away. She flipped over the notebook and grabbed a purple sparkly pen and wrote something on the page. God I'm so nosy, I must know what she's writing about. I'm probably just going to turn in my video game poem I wrote in seventh grade I thought to myself. The bell rang and Zoe rushed out of the room. As she ran out I noticed a fancy script flowing from her back to her shoulder and chest. "What was that all about?" Rachel asked, wrapping her arms around my neck. "I'm not sure" I responded as I watched Zoe bolt out of the room. "Probably her idea of some kind of nasty tramp stamp" Rachel said as she nuzzled her face into my neck. I shoved her away as gently as I possibly could. "What the hell is your problem Kyle? Any and every guy wants me and here I am, throwing myself at you over and over again and you don't care!" Rachel screamed at me as she stormed out of the classroom. If she knew what my problem was she never would speak to me again. If only she knew what it was.
