Chapter-3-All About That Day,That Night

So that day I went to school as usual and found out that Eli was absent. I later came to know that he was sick and which is why he didn't come -by our class teacher... So I thought I would check on him after school for my house was just a 20 min walk to his And so I went to his home with some fruits just to find him dancing to "Bang Bang" by Nicki Minaj, Though I love the song I got quite annoyed since I spent $9.77 on the fruits... Though I loved his personality, I Saw him half-naked only in his sweatpants and oh my real mother-effing harry potter he looked like Jegor Venned I was speechless for about 55 seconds, and then I stuttered with the words "I... I thought...umm that you..you were sick?" ... He laughed at my idiocy and silliness and I came out of my trance and snapped at him "So uff, is this your daily ritual at Alaska huh calling in sick and dancing like a clown" ... He said oh please you are the one to talk, I've seen you dance like a little squirrel when you get an A+. Though it was true I denied it and I came to know that he had just simply said sickness as a reason to avoid school, the real reason being that he slept! ugh, that arsehole... So then we talked for about 20 minutes about why we both loved Nicki Minaj and "Bang Bang" so much. And then I decided to leave. I had to go and have some food. My stomach was rumbling. He told me he'd walk me home... and I thought that was the right time to confess to him about my feelings. It's been forever but that is a moment I will not forget for a lifetime...The night sky was aglow with bright city lights. The pale crescent moon shone like a silvery claw in the night sky. We looked up at the blanket of stars that stretched to infinity. As I gazed around I had suddenly caught eyes with Eli and oh His eyes were so different in moments like those, more soft than I knew eyes could be. If it were anyone else I would have dropped my gaze, but with him I got drawn in closer. He pulled me close for a soft and gentle hug but neither his nor my eyes budged to look away. Slowly and gently we both leaned in holding each other's lips softly, tugged in a little closer. I got a strong odor of his cologne scent he holded my lips much stronger than before but it didn't hurt. I pressed myself against his body ... slowly I leaned on to a deeper kiss and he softly kissed back as I drew myself out... And that is how I had the best kiss of my life. My exes were good but the difference was that he was innocent and they were not. We expressed our feelings towards each other. He told me that he was not interested in labels and neither was I so we thought we would see how we work together... So we just walked for a few minutes until we reached my home ... I softly smooched him and waved him Bye... It was a Friday so I knew I mostly wouldn't be seeing him for the next 2 days. Then I went home blushing in baby pink... I entered home just to know that my dad was watching me the whole time... Now my dad is not a strict person or a bad dad, as I said before he supports my choices but always warns me if he thinks what I'm doing is wrong... So he asked me who the guy was when I told my dad everything about him and when I told that he was the son of Asher Crane, you should have seen the look on his face... He looked so euphoric and delighted... Though I did not understand why. Then he told me that they were pretty close childhood friends and that they were also planning to become business partners. I told him I was glad about it ... He told me that he was eager to meet Eli. The next day I went to school and I was a few minutes late. .As i appologised to my teacher I noticed Eli, Stella and Jon waving to me at the same time I waved back and entered the class and went and sat in my last bench and by the way in our school this "back benchers are for poor grade students'' concept isn't there so ya i sat on the last bench listening to my English teacher rant about his wonderful christmas experience to explain about cheer spirit . I looked around to spot Elijah staring at my face, I was startled and then chuckled ... Then it was eventually recess when I found my way to him and told him about the whole "dad caught up thing" ... and he said he would give a visit the next time he came by ... Then we were chattering for some time when the bell rang for Sociology. I realized I forgot to eat and raced up the corridor to my class ... and the day went by so this went on for days ... Classes, recess chatter with Eli and back home parents time. . In the course of time we both really did become fond of each other and our teacher announced that we would be having a trip to the Botanical Gardens which had opened just a few months back when I had moved to LA and I was dying to go there. School got over in a while and we all left home.
