New Beginnings

Days rolled by and suddenly one day my dad asked "Hey Ann what happened to that boy... uh Asher's son ?" and hearing those words i realized it's time they met. So pretending like I didn't hear him I went to school . There he was as always with those dreamy eyes and that stupid grin on his face. Stella came running towards me as though the world was ending and of course it was only to tell me that she had a new pimple on her face. I asked Eli if he was free that day. Eli said yes. I asked if he wanted to meet my dad. He said okay. So that evening my parents finally got the chance to meet Eli. They were having a nice chat and they were even talking about their businesses. My dad further went to invite Asher Crane's family for dinner. A few days later, Asher Crane, Emilia Crane and Elijah were at our door around 7 pm for an early dinner. It was a beautiful day filled with laughter and joy. Both the fathers came to a conclusion of doing a restaurant business together. Asher Crane was talking about how that was his first debut entrepreneurial idea but couldn't do that due to the lack of capital and which is why he refurbished his own house and put it on sale and that got him to the place he is today. It was truly inspiring to hear the Crane's history and of course my dad boasting about Our 11 coffee shop branches that he had already opened. It grew dark and before we knew it was 10pm , The Crane family happily bid bye and went their way. After the good food, laughter and heartwarming conversations, Annie felt a sense of Belonging and excitement for the future
