Chapter 8 | 5th Year of The Mission Year X796

Lucy (Anomalis) POV:

It had been 5 years since the original guild had left, Macao had remarried to a mage named Alanna and now they have a 3-year-old daughter who gained the ability of Green Flare which is a combination of the Nature magic that her mother possessed and the Purple Flare of her father. She is an absolutely adorable child and a prodigy; she's already controlling her abilities really well. Unlike Romeo who didn't gain any kind or caring traits, instead took on a brash and reckless personality to impress Wendy, just like Natsu did when he was 'courting' Lisanna.

Anyways...

The three teams have all gotten really successful with defeating the lower ranking demons, no upper moons have shown themselves in public, but rumours have said that Daki and Gyutaro moved their target to the people of Fiore since humans here are more power filled. So, the Demon Slayer Corps sent Mr Uzui Tengen to help Elementis out 3 weeks ago. They should be back in 10 hours though, so... They'll arrive before midnight.

I hurry off to my office to finish the paperwork for the trial passers, assigning them teachers, classes, and dorms. This was a tedious process, that I'd honestly rather not do. Rengokou was out teaching advanced physical combat; weapons, bare fist, martial arts, and so on. Macao and Wakaba are off teaching magic/mana control since they learnt the basics to each earthly element. Advanced lessons for each element are covered by special teachers, Fire; Rengokou, Electricity and Wind; Happy, Light; Sting, Shadow; Rogue; Earth; Jura, Water; Pisces, Ice/Frost; Lyonn.

Brianna gets Advanced Fire lessons occasionally; Lia and Luka get Advanced Light lessons. Team Luna all gets basic element lessons, and get their separate Advanced Lessons, Joshua with Ice, Amelia with Lightning and Water, Jordan with Shadows. Team Elementis obviously get their own little private lessons, but they have advanced to the 3rd best team of the Academy/Guild, so they don't really attend the Academy anymore, they are nearly full mages of Fairy Tail.

Team     Divos:     Lucy; Anomalis, Rengokou; Magmis, Happy; Lec (Deals     with all of the 'above' (Below) and Uppermoons)

Purple Mist: Macao and Wakaba (Deals with     the international terrorists, dark guilds, occasionally demons that aren't     overly strong, helps Team Divos with taking down evil empires)

Team     Elementis:     Tanjiro, Inosuke, Zenitsu, Nezuko (Deals with the Demons and Large Dark     Guilds that are trying to spread their control)

Team Luna: Joshua Hunt, Amelia Hunt,     Jordan Hunt (Deals with the slightly stronger elemental mages, but     not an overly high level)

Or

NCT: Members occasionally change, depending on where the mission is, they have separate teams and groups assigned to certain towns and areas. (Deals with the stronger Mind/Darkness based enemies as well as recruiting mages with creature-based abilities)

Team Solaris: Brianna Jones, Lia Kim, Luka Kim (Deals with     the stronger Earth/Darkness based enemies)

The rankings obviously don't include the guild members on the 5-year mission, but even then, I don't think there would be much change to the top 5. Maybe the 4th and 5th groups would change, but I doubt that the top 3 would change.

"Ughhhh!!! Why are there so many Fire mages that got in?! There aren't enough Wind mages, and the influx of all the other elements came in the previous trials. HAPPY!" Lucy hollered, snapping her fingers, a small hologram call was turned on. "You have to go around Fiore searching for competent Wind or Lightning mages that you can train. Make sure they don't have any signs of having large egos."
