My Beloved King (Izana Kurokawa x Reader)

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY !

As usual I'm on my way to the orphanage ! It's been 6 years now since I met Izana and Kaku ! We're still friends and I'm really happy about that ! We still celebrate every holiday together ! I go see them as much as I can but since I started going to school I can't go as much as I did. Thankfully they understood that, well Kaku understood, Izana in the other hand would constantly argue about it ! It wasn't really surprising, after all Izana and I always fight about little things ! I'm glad Shinichi and him are pretty close now !

Since it's my birthday today I didn't bring anything for them. Since the first birthday I celebrated with them Izana always scolded me for bringing things for them, now I don't bring anything.

-"Kaku !"

-"Oh ! Hi (Y/N) !"

-"You seem nervous what's wrong Kaku ? And where is Izana ?"

-"Oh ! Ahem ! He's...Izana is..."

-"What's going on Kaku ?"

-"Izana isn't here !"

-"Oh he must be with Shinichi ! Right ?"

-"No he's not (Y/N)."

-"Then where is he ? And when does he come back ?"

-"He won't come back.. At least not now..."

-"What do you mean ?"

-"Izana went in juvenile !"

-"In what ?!"

-"In a juvenile detention center."

-"Wha- Why ?"

-"I don't know."

-"But everything was okay when I came last week ! What could he have done ?"

-"I really don't know (Y/N). I'm sorry."

-"It's okay Kaku. It's not your fault." I smiled.

-"Let's change your mind ! After all it's you birthday ! Let's celebrate !"

-"I do-"

-"Come on !"

-"Okay okay !"

Kaku and I celebrated my birthday but I couldn't think about anything but Izana. What happened ? Why is he in juvenile ? What did he do ? Will I be able to see him ? When will he come back ? I can't tell Mom, she argued with Grandma years ago about that. Since that day we never heard about her so I can't tell Mom that Izana is in juvenile. It would mean that she argued with Grandma for nothing...

-"(Y/N) sweetheart ? What's going on ? You seem sad."

-"Oh ! Nothing Mom I'm okay ! Just a bit tired I guess !"

-"How was your birthday with Izana and Kakucho ?"

-"Oh ! It was great ! Like every year."

-"Did you have some presents this year too ?"

-"Yeah ! Kaku made me a birthday card ! And Izana...Izana made me one too !" I shouldn't lie to her.
