My Beloved King (Izana Kurokawa x Reader)

AUGUST 13TH, 2002

It's been 7 months since Izana got released from juvenile. At first things went really well, I was happy he had friends so he wasn't alone. The problem is that months ago they started doing really bad things. So bad that they started talking about it in the news, hopefuly the medias don't know their identity. I tried to talk with them but it's useless everytime, the worst part is that the head of all this is Izana. Because of this I have to lie to Mom and Dad again, but this time I can't say anything to them. Imagine if your daughter is seeing a guy like Izana you would do anything you can to keep them apart. But I don't want to leave him, I can't. I'm not even sure there's something I can do at this point but I just can't leave him.

Today I'm supposed to spend the day with Izana so I'm wainting for him in a park. It's weird we were supposed to meet 10 minutes ago and he's still not here. He's never late when we go out together I hope nothing bad happened to him. I should look for him but what if he comes here and doesn't see me ? I don't know what to do.

It's been 20 minutes I'll go look for him. I went to everyplace he could be but he's nowhere to be found. It started raining. Great ! Just great ! I swear to God if he didn't come because of his stupid delinquent shit I'll kill him !

Oh ? Is that Izana ?!

-"Iza- Oh my God ! Izana !" I ran to him.

-"(Y/N) ? What are you doing here ?"

-"We were supposed to spend the day together remember ?"

-"Oh fuck !" 

-"Izana you're crying !"

-"No I'm not."

-"Izana you're definitely crying what's wrong ?"

-"Nothing."

-"Izana how many time do I have to tell you to not push me away ?"

-"I know."

-"Come here." I said hugging him.

-"He lied." He cried.

-"Who lied ?"

-"Shinichiro. He lied." He said holding me tighter.

-"About what ?"

-"I'm not his brother. We're not related."

-"What ?"

-"My mom isn't even my mom. I'm the son of her ex-husband and a Filipino woman he cheated with. I'm not related to Shinichiro, Mikey or Emma."

-"Does that really matter ?"

-"WHAT DO YOU MEAN DOES IT MATTER ?!"

-"First of all do not yell at me. I was just asking if not having the same parents as them means you're not a family."

-"Of course !"

-"Why ?"

-"I thought that we were blood related for years and Shinichiro didn't bother to tell me anything. He just told me it doesn't matter."

-"Because it doesn't. I mean we don't have to be blood related to be a family. Look at Kaku, you and I, we're not blood related but we're still a family."

-"Yes but we started this family knowing we weren't blood related, this family started with trust."

-"I see your point. But wait first things first ! How do you know that ?"

-"I ran into my mom a few days ago and asked her why she left me. That's when she told me I wasn't her son."

-"And you didn't tell me ! I'll kill you an other day for this ! And did you talk with Shinichi ?"

-"Yeah I just did."

-"That's why you didn't come. How did it go ?"

-" Bad. I was just so mad about the fact that he knew and did tell me. He should have just left me alone. I was happy with Kakucho and you coming whenever you could."

-"Don't tell me you two fought."

-"We didn't fight. I just punched him and he took it."

-"Izana !"

-"What ?! I'm just being honest."

-"So you don't want him in your life anymore ?"

-"No."

-"Okay." I said still hugging him.

-"Okay ? You're not going to tell that I should talk with him and fix things ?"

-"I won't. It's you decision and I respect it."

-"Thank you." He said crying a bit more.

-"By the way you owe me a date."

-"I know, I'll make it up to you."

Izana stayed in my arms for a while before he decided to head home. I went with him to make sure he'll be okay.

-"Oh God ! (Y/N) you're soaked ! Izana what's wrong with you ?!"

-"Hi Ran ! I'm okay don't worry."

-"Ran you say one more thing to her and you're dead."

-"Welcome home Boss !"

-"Take a hot shower and go to bed or you'll be sick." I told Izana.

-"If you say so."

-"I'll head home too before it gets too dark."

-"I'll make someone walk you home. Not you Ran."

-"Why ?!"

-"You don't have to." I said.

-"Yes I have to. Mucho make sure she gets home safe."

-"Yes."

The walk with Mucho was silent but I felt safe. I mean look at him he's so scary but only on the outside, on the inside he's so nice.

-"Thank you for walking me Mucho."

-"No problem."

-"Have a good night !"

-"You too."

I hope Izana will be alright.
