Sofia The Posessed Protector

Chapter 5

Margarita/Sofia laughed, "my apologies. I needed to use a body. Once I get what I came for, I'll become a spirit."

"Ive been  searching for you in the Spirit Realm, but could never find you. Now I know why." Esteban smiled

"Its time for us both to let go of our bitterness. You will see me on Dia de Los Muertos this year. I know all about the magic you have. That magic will allow you to see ghosts like it does for Elena." Margarita/Sofia stated.

Louisa and Isabel turned to look at Elena. "When can you see Spirits?"

"Uh....since I got out of that Amulet. Sorry I thought I told you!" Elena laughed sheepishly.

"Moving on. I came to say Im sorry Esteban, Mama and Papa. I wanted to come home so bad." Margarita/Sofia stated

"We know. Now family hug!" Liuisa exclaimed.

The group embraced each other and held tight for a few minutes. Suddenly Sofia gasped

"Whats happening?" Elena asked

"Im....moving on. I love you all so much and thank you Sofia!" Margarita stated. A blue transparent body floated out of Sofias and stayed there for a second.

Sofia sighed deeply and gasped a seeing the ghost. "Im glad I could help, Miss Margarita."

"Esteban, Elena, youll see me on dia de Los Muertos. Until then goodbye everyone." Margaritas ghost blew kisses the  turned and vanished.

"I no doubt overstayed my welcome here. My family is probably very worried about me." Sofia stated

"You should stay a few days. If you are able to open the portal to Enchancia, I'll send a note to your sister explaining everything." Elena smiled

"Oh, ok." Sofia smiled smiled uneasily.

Elena got to work writing a note to Amber.

Enchancia

Amber was so ready to pull out her hair. She sat behind her desk watching her whole family. They had come together to discuss Sofias disappearance. Roland, Miranda, the Grand Queen, Tilly, James,  Baileywhick and Cedric.

"Who was the last person to see Sofia?" Amber asked.

"I was Amber. She seemed very quiet and detached." Miranda frowned.

"I got the same feeling here too." Amber frowned.

"I thought Sofia was supposed to be home for your coronation Amber." James frowned.

"She was James. We're here to discuss what happened to her, please keep up!" Amber stated impatiently.

"Sorry Amber, I've been busy with my new knight duties to notice Sofia wasn't here." James replied.

"Amber dear, Sofia could have been on a Protector mission." Tilly pointed out.

"No I know, but she promised she wouldn't. Now she left without a trace. Even when we were kids, she told me what she was up to." Amber groaned.

Suddenly a portal opened showing a room in Avalor castle in front of Ambers desk. "What?"

"Throw it in Elena." Sofia yawned.

"Sofia?!" Amber stood up straight trying to see into the portal to Avalor.

In response, a scroll came through the portal. Before Amber or anyone else could even blink, the portal vanished.

"What was that?" Miranda exclaimed

"Im not sure." Amber picked up the scroll and unrolled it.

"Dear Royal Family of Enchancia,

I am so sorry I had to take Sofia during Princess Ambers coronation. I had stumbled upon a cursed book and was possessed by a malevolent spirit. I knew Sofia could help since she saved me from the Amulet all those years ago. When met up, Sofia took the spirit into herself and returned to Enchancia...."

"So that's why she was so different!" Amber exclaimed

"Sofia was playing host to a spirit?!" Roland asked.

"I did not see that coming." Tilly commented.

Amber continued reading. "Not long after Sofia returned to Avalor. But when I saw her, she wasn't acting like herself. She had damanded I get my entire family together. I know strange since, Sofia only met my family once and that was when she freed my kingdom. We were in for a huge surprise. The spirit in Sofias body was my mother's sister who was lost at sea with her husband. She came back to apologize, which she did. My aunt has moved on, freeing Sofia. She's just a bit tired. I insisted she stay here for a few days. I'm sorry to have kept you in the dark, we had no idea either. Congragulations to Queen Amber of Enchancia, we will speak again soon.

Amber set the scroll down.  "Whoa."

Mystic Isles

"Have you heard from Sofia?" Chrysta asked

"No I haven't Chrysta. I should check in on her. The week break is almost up." Vega answered.

Vega activated the talk function on her Enchantlet. "Huh, it's not going through. Strange, Sofia knows to keep her Enchantlet on."

"I'll go see what's going on Vega." Chrysta volunteered

"Good idea, let us know." Vega nodded.

Chrysta activated the portal feature on her Enchantlet and stepped through to Avalor.

Avalor

"Hmmm... nice Palace." Chrysta mumbled looking up. She landed in the garden of Avalor castle.

"Who are you?" Mateo asked as he walked by.

"I am Chrysta, a friend of Sofias. I know she's here, where is she?" Chrydta asked.

"Thats a good question. Only Queen Elena knows where she is." Mateo answered

"Can you take me to Queen  Elena then?" Chrysta asked.

Mateo nodded, but was confused when the Queen was no where to be found. "Elena, Elena! Where is she?" Mateo asked

"Mateo why are you looking for Elena?" Gabe asked.

"Theres a visitor for uh...Protector Sofia, but only Elena knows where she is." Mateo replied.

Isabel was listening into the two people talking. She peeked out and gasped seeing wings on the back of the newcomer.
