a few weeks later

brandy held nolan on her hip as she slowly walked up the stairs, for the past couple weeks everyone was worried sick about monica, she was loosing more weight than she could gain back at the moment, never coming out her room and most importantly she hasn't seen her children.

"you got it sweetie?". brandy softly asked looking at nolan as he held the small bowl of strawberries "yes". he softly said, brandy smiled before knocking on monica's door not getting a response, sighing she placed nolan onto his feet before grabbing the door knob thanking god it wasn't locked.

"monica?". she asked opening the door, it was pitch black in the room "mama?". nolan softly said running over to the bed as brandy flicked the lights on.

nolan's eyed monica lovingly as she slept facing him, standing on his tippy toes nolan leaned over pressing his lips against hers before pulling away smiling. "mama". he whined as brandy sighed walking over gently nudging her. "hmmm?". monica whispered fluttering her eyes open, moaning in pain brandy helped her sit up.

nolan grabbed brandy's pants leg tugging on it wanting her attention "yes nolan?". she asked picking him up, reaching for monica she glanced up at him before sliding out the bed ignoring him as she went to the bathroom. "mama". nolan reached for her watching as she softly shut the door.

monica cried softly as she sat in the scorching hot tub water, nolan who was laying in monica's bed slowly slid out before walking over to the door pushing it open. "mama". he softly said walking to stand in front of her "hi". he whispered making her smile, wiping her tears monica sniffled "h-hi baby". nolan smiled before opening his arms wanting a hug, wrapping her arms tightly around him nolan held tightly onto monica.

"where's your sister at baby?". monica asked pulling away, nolan put his finger on his lip in thought, he ran out the room leaving monica alone who was in deep thought.

a tap to her shoulder made monica look over into nalani's light eyes as she smiled showcasing her deep dimples "hi mommy". she said opening her arms, monica smiled wrapping her arms around her body "i love y'all". monica softly said looking over their faces. "want to go see daddy?".

monica immediately noticed the look of excitement on nalani's face at the mention of jack's name "yes". she softly said, nolan who was to busy splashing water from the tub didn't hear monica "this boy". she thought grabbing his hand holding it shaking her head "nolan come here". monica softly said, taking his shirt off she smiled at him "go ask your auntie to change your clothes before we leave".

turning her mercedes off monica glanced at nalani and a sleeping nolan "dada?". nalani softly asked, "yes mama you'll see him in a second". grabbing her purse monica stepped out the car before going over to nalani unlocking her seat belt "remember to stay close to mommy ok?". nalani nodded as she held the card she made for jack "ok mommy". she softly said following close behind monica after she lifted nolan into her arms making him snuggle into her.

nalani grabbed monica's hand as they walked to the front door before monica put the code in unlocking the front door.

"bias". nalani screamed as tobias raced over to them greeting them "i missed you". monica pouted as she gently rubbed her hand over his fur, she furrowed her eyebrows eyeing him in concern.
