Chapter 3: The Krakken

A bright moon lit up the surrounding forest as lake is seen with the reflection of the moonlight. It was a peaceful night. Well, quite peaceful.

Ben: "Cannonball!"

Ben jumped into the lake with a big splash as he came out cheering.

Ben: "Judges score! Yes! A perfect 10! Wooooooo! The crowd loves him."

Gwen: "A perfect dweeb is more like it."

Ben: "Come on guys! Dive in."

Y/n: "Nah, I'm quite sleepy myself."

Gwen: "Please! Who knows what nasty, slimy things are slithering in there."

She used her flashlight and lit up the lake until it landed on Ben as Gwen smirked.

Gwen: "I rest my case."

Ben: "Come on guys. What's the point in camping near the lake if you're afraid to get wet?"

Y/n: "Maybe tomorrow, I'll take a dip."

Ben then started to splash water at Gwen who was nearest to him.

Gwen: "Knock it off midget!"

Y/n: "Not cool dude."

The two then started to walk back to the Rust Bucket when Ben started to act weirdly.

Ben: "Hey! What's- happenin-?"

Ben was pulled down as Y/n and Gwen became worried to the point where Y/n was getting ready to use his Omnitrix.

Gwen: "Very funny Ben. Ben?"

Bubble appeared on the water as a large figure came out scaring Gwen making her fall on her butt. Y/n was about to hit the core when he realized who it was. Gwen's flashlight then rolled near the creature as the light showed it was Ben as Four-Arms covered in seaweed.

Gwen: "Ben?!"

Four-Arms (Ben): "You should have seen the look on your face. Ah priceless."

Gwen got up with a furious look and walked back to the Rust Bucket.

Gwen: "You are so busted when I tell Grandpa."

Four-Arms (Ben): "I can't believe she fell for that. A monster in the lake? How dumb can you be?"

Y/n: "That was really uncool Ben. I was getting worried too you know."

Four-Arms (Ben): "It's not like there's a real lake monster."

Then something came out of the lake even bigger than Four-Arms as the two boys looked up with wide eyes.

Y/n: "You we're saying?"

The large creature grabbed Four-Arms and dragged him underwater.

Y/n: "Hang on Ben! I'm coming!"

Y/n transformed into Jetray and dived into the water. He learned that Jetray can swim and breath underwater so he spotted Ben punch the monster's tentacle. The monster got irritated and threw Ben away as Jetray fired his neuroshock at the monster making it growl in pain.

Jetray (Y/n): "Okay that was a bad idea."

The monster chased Jetray as Y/n swam at a faster speed while dodging the monster's bite. Ben then grabbed the monster from the back and started punching it. Jetray then swam towards his friend and grabbed him before flying out of the water. The two then went towards the Rust Bucket as Ben opened it.

Four-Arms (Ben): "We were just attack by a giant lake monster."

Gwen threw her pillow at Ben as she was annoyed.
