When we faced the media after me and Max didn't attend the restart, we knew that we would both get asked a lot of questions
Uncle Lewis thankfully got released from the hospital a couple of days after the incident with a clean bill of health
So me and Max talked to him about what we would say to the media. We came to the conclusion that I would tell everyone that I was related to Lewis and we would say that Max came with me to the hospital for support
'So Lando, why weren't you at the restart for the race'
'I went to the hospital to see how my Uncle Lewis was doing'
'Uncle Lewis???'
'Yes, Lewis Hamilton is my uncle'
'Wow, okay, do you know where Max was at the restart'
'Yes, he was with me at the hospital for support'
'Why'
'Because I asked him to come'
'Why have we only heard about you being the nephew of Lewis Hamilton now'
'We decided not to tell anyone because we didn't want to jeopardise my f1 career'
I walked away from the Reporter after that because I didn't want to answer any more questions about my private life
