My Hope

*Liah's pov

I woke up from my sleep panthing heavily. As I had a nightmare about last night. I looked at the watch besides the bed and it was already noon. There was a food right beside the watch. It had a note on it.

"Eat your food princess.
If I don't see an empty plate when I get back I will punish you"

I was flaming in anger. I hated that monster. I hated my parents for leaving me alone with him. I hated my dad for bringing him to my life. I hated my body. I cried as I remembered what he did to me.

I gathered all the energy I have and got up from the bed. Every part of my body was aching. I groand in pain. It was unbearable. I was really in pain. I cheered for my self and went to bathroom. I quickly looked at the plant that was in the bathroom. I smiled.

I took it and start digging the soil. I was happy when I find my mini phone. I turned it on and quickly dialed the number.

*Mark's pov

It was noon. I was at my office. I called her phone again, its off. Now I am getting pissed. I asked Sarah about it but she told me she hasn't spoke to her since that day. I tried to call her brother but he doesn't respond. I called her parents, still nothing. I couldn't focus on anything.

"Mark, are you okay?" it was Michael.

"Yes, do you need anything?" I asked him softly

"Look Mark, I know you don't like me. But I hate seeing you like this. So tell me maybe I can help" he said. His voice showed concern

"Its nothing Michael" I replied.

*Michael's pov

I hate seeing him like this. I really want to know what happened to him. He seemed worried. I never thought he will be like this. His eyes were puffy, his hair was messy, he doesn't yell at me, he was not Mark.

"Look Mar....." I was cutted when his phone rang. He gave it to me.

"Please tell them I am not here" I nodded.

*O.T.P

"M..Mark...." the lady on the phone was shattering.

"Mark is busy. May I know who you are" I asked as I was putting it on speaker. He doesn't seem interested

"I....I'm Liah...can you......" Mark snatched the phone from me.

"Angel.... where are you.....are you ok......" He kept asking. I was confused. The phone is still on speaker

"Mark....please....*sob*....save me...*sob*....." she was sobbing. Mark's eyes got teary. I have never seen him like that.

"Where are you? Who dared to hurt you angel?" His voice was cracking. I could see anger in his eyes

"David ....... he...k..kidnapped....me.....please mark ...... save me....he will kill me" her voice was cracking. She was wisphering. I could hear water running.

"I knew it. That little piece of shit. Do you know where you are now angel?" he asked gritting his teeth in anger

"I don't know.........*sob*......its ..a..mansion....please Mark I can't take it anymore......please save me from this hell" she sobbed.

"Don't you worry angel. I will save you I promise." He sighed there was a moment of silence between them.

"D...Did....he....t..touched....you?" Mark asked with tears in his eyes. 'He really loves her' I thought. She didn't utter any word as she sobbed hard. A tear escape from Mark's eyes.

"I will kill him" he said as he clenched his jaw.

"Mark please.......save me ...." she sobbed.

"I promise angel I will save you. And he will wish for his death for everything he did to you!!" He said in anger. Then we heard a knock on the door.

"I'm here" she shouted.

"Listen to me angel, don't turn this phone off. I will find you soon I promise. Just please hang in there. Okay" he said as tears keep falling from his eyes.

"Okay...I love you" she wispered. He smiled.

"I love you more. Promise me to stay strong angel please. And call me everytime you get chance. Hmm" he begged. Tears start to fall from my eyes as I witness his love for her.

"Promise" she hang up.

He immediately broke down. I hugged him tightly. He sobbed hard.
"It .....is .....because.....because......of.....me. I couldn't save my angel" he sobbed harder.

"Don't say that Mark. You have to be strong. You have to save her like you promised" as I said that he immediately stand up.

"Yeah I .....need to save her." He was about to go. I stopped him.

"Let me help you. You can't trust anyone here. I will track her number" I told him.

"How would you do it?'' He asked confused.

"Bro I am computer technologies expert. Don't forget that" I bragged.

"Can you do it now?" He asked. I nodded taking his phone. I was going to my office. I paused at the door.

"She will be fine. We will save her. I promise" He smiled at me. I smiled and walked to my office.

*Mark's pov

I was feeling too many feelings right now. Anger, guilt, scared, worried, sad and many more.

'I'm sorry angel. I couldn't stop all of these things from happening to you. I'm sorry I couldn't see that you were in danger. Sorry for ignoring my instnict, sorry for breaking my promise. But I promise I will save you soon. I will make sure he suffers for everything he has done to you' with that I went to Michael's office.

*Liah's pov

After I spoke to mark I felt strong. I got up from the bath tab and placed the phone back to its spot. I smiled at my bruised face before wrapping a towel around my body.

'You're my only hope that get me out of this hell. Please hurry up my hope save me' I said to my self before stepping out of the bathroom.
