" Well... this is certainly not the worst way to go " Severus sarcastically said to himself as he coughed, surrounded by his incredulous and heartbroken son and an injured Tom Riddle, formerly known as Lord Voldemort.
This is where it had all led to.
Years ago, Severus decided to leave Hogwarts after his friendship with Lily broke apart. He traveled around the world, learning of Muggle, or rather Mundane subjects like Science as well as improving his magical knowledge. He also fixed his appearance and did physical exercises to train his body to increase his magical potential and put on some muscle.
He had married and had a son named Morgan.
All the while there was a war in Britain, one that he had no wish to participate in, no matter how much each side tried to force him.
The Marauders, his former bullies kidnapped his wife and James Potter raped her before Severus found him and beat the life out of him, brutally torturing him as he screamed for mercy. He didn't spare Sirius Black either and had him thrown in Azkaban after having his way with him. Severus castrated Lupin and Pettigrew and flayed them alive as they screamed.
The whole Ministry of Magic was corrupt and the Daily Prophet called his wife a whore for being raped and so it was the last straw for Severus Snape.
He decided that they will all pay.
Severus had revealed the existence of magical Britain to Muggle authorities, showing them violent footages and causing the magical citizens to be hunted down.
Severus weaponized deadly diseases like Ebola and unleashed them in the worst and the most corrupt parts of Magical Britain, causing its citizens terrible pain, infertility and Death.
He allowed Voldemort's dark creatures to run rampant and kill and enslave every Wizard and Witch they come across.
Severus founded his own group of Wizards, Witches and creatures that his son was also a part of. They had gone after every Muggle who abused Muggleborns and brutally tortured them before making them confess and revealing their truth to the Public.
The Wizarding people were in an outrage and protested against the Ministry of Magic. Severus found an excuse to storm the blasted Government and slaughter them mercilessly. The Death Eaters also helped him.
He enjoyed the parts when these bastards who dishonored his wife's memory now begged for his Mercy while he granted them none.
He had even enjoyed his son Morgan beating Harry Potter to death, the little shit who had come to kill him.
He forced Dumbledore to come out of hiding and fought him. Severus hated that old bastard for he held the leash of the Marauders, ordering them to kidnap his wife to blame it on Death Eaters so he would be blinded by revenge into spying on them.
Severus took satisfaction in beating the old bastard, breaking his ribs and ruining his face and revelled in his screams. He had overpowered him by being faster than him and disarmed him of the Elder Wand.
He could have killed Dumbledore ... but he allowed him to regain the Elder Wand and kill him as he shot the bone crushing curse right where his heart was, damaging the bone and making it pierce his heart as he fell back.
Morgan Snape then plunged the sword of Gryffindor into Albus Dumbledore's throat and ended his tyranny.
" Father, please .... don't leave me ! "
" Hush, my son " Severus gently said, wiping his tears away. His son will live in a better world, he had taught everything he knew, including how to survive " his ... followers are g-g-gone ... l-l-live well ".
Severus stared at Tom Riddle who stared back at him in sadness. Severus had found out about Dumbledore's treatment of him in the past and helped him regain his sanity by forcing him to merge back with his Horcruxes when he was at his worst. Tom was blaming himself now. The forced remerge took a lot of Severus' power and he struggled to recover everytime but when Tom became more sane in the 5th remerge, it was already too late for Severus as his heart was failing and he would have died in a few days.
This was the reason for Severus to speed up his plans and pull Dumbledore here. He let Morgan kill him so that he could become a hero.
Slytherin's name would be redeemed after this revolution as Dumbledore's truth came to light and his son would be a hero for killing Dumbledore. Now with the interference of ICW in Magical Britain, all corruption would be revealed and those who had fought alongside him would now lead a good life as things would be better now. Tom and the rest of the Death Eaters would ensure that the Muggle enforcement's memories would be erased.
" I would have been glad to have known you better... Severus Snape " Tom said in sadness as a lone tear went down his right cheek.
" .... Likewise .... " was the last word came out of his blood soaked mouth as his sight faded and the cries of his son was the last thing he heard.

A cold voice attracted the attention of Severus Snape
He was in a place reminiscent of the King's Cross station, the only difference was that everything except the train was white but not enough to blind him.
Severus stared at a man who looked to be his age with short dark hair and pitch black eyes wearing a drifter's getup while holding a Scythe.
" Death " Severus greeted him " I assume you're here to take me for judgement ? ".
" There is no judgement. Unlike Dumbledore, who now rots in a special section of hell, your reason was good enough and you only defended yourself. In fact, I should thank you for sending me the head of the Snake and healing Tom Riddle " Death explained.
" What now ? " Severus asked
" Normally, I would either tell you to board that train to the beyond or leave you to watch over the realm of the living but you have my objects, the Elder Wand, my invisibility cloak and the resurrection stone and you are the first to gather them... It doesn't make you my master but it does give you a boost in power ... and capable for the task I am looking for someone capable to complete ".
" What task ? " Severus asked in suspicion.
" There is a world where there's corruption... mundanes who defile magic and try to destroy it " Death spat in disgust " some Gods are corrupt and declare war on the more neutral Gods for more power, killing their followers and magical creations... If you want then you will be reborn into this world to a magically strong man and woman named Ned Stark and Alena Belaerys, both of whom have dormant magic in them and you can help me restore order to the country they live in, The North by wiping out the worst of them ".
" I'm in " Severus agreed and his vision went dark.

Severus opened his eyes and found his body was small and then looked up to find himself staring at the eyes of a woman with purple eyes.
He realized that he was a baby.
