Hawkins.

CHAPTER ONE
( season 2 episode 1 )

"Don't be a little shit." Billy warned to both Max and Alexis "Whatever, dickhead." Alexis flipped him off as she walked away with Max.

"You aren't scared he'll tell your dad?" Alexis laughed "That's funny, Max." she shook her head and walked a different direction of her stepsister.

Chris and Billy made their way to school entrance as Billy nudged Chris in his side, he held his side as Hargrove nudged him quite roughly.

"What?" Chris snapped "There." Billy motioned to the three girls staring and smiling, some waving at the two boys.

Chris cringed at them. He was into boys, not girls. Billy never knew that, and Chris was gonna make sure he never found out.

As they made it into school someone called his name "Mayfield?" he pushed himself away from
Billy and couldn't believe what he was seeing.

Vanessa Hall. His best friend from California, she moved a couple years before him but he didn't know she moved to Hawkins.

He noticed she was standing beside a group of people, he made his way over and smiled at the group while giving Vanessa a tight hug.

"How have you been?" she asked ruffling his hair a little "I mean i wasn't excited to move but now that i know you're here, i don't wanna move back." he smiled.

Vanessa turned to the group "Shit, my bad." she pulled Chris forward a little "Christopher, this is Nancy Wheeler, Jonathan Byers and Steve Harrington."

Chris gave them all a small wave, Nancy waved back but turned to Jonathan "So, you're definitely coming to the party?" she asked.

Chris furrowed his brows "Party? What party?" Steve took off his sunglasses "Why are you wearing sunglasses inside, asshole?" Vanessa looked him up and down.

"Shut up." he turned his attention back to Chris "You should come, it's just a halloween party." the Mayfield quickly declined.

"I don't do parties. They aren't my thing." he turned to Vanessa "But you have fun, Ness." she threw her arm around him but where she lay it made the boy wince in pain.

"Shit. Are you okay?" she removed her arm "Yeah, yeah i'm fine." Chris noticed all the stares from the three so he tried to get the attention off of him.

"Who is that?" they all turned to see who he was looking at "Oh, that's my brother's friend. Anthony Crowell." she smiled at Chris.

"He's really sweet. Him and my brother are really close." Jonathan spoke up, Chris just nodded as he saw the boy shut his locker and walk over to a curly haired boy.

Alexis sat on the roof, taking out her pocket knife and cutting holes in her black jeans. She saw the group of boys who sat in front of her in class.

She noticed the quiet one walking toward some women with a green car, she assumed it was his mother. Where was he going? she thought to herself.
