Mackenzie Magolly, the greatest of all investigators in town. In all of honesty, she never had one case that she couldn't solve. Isn't that just amazing? Really worth an applause, yeah! Ahem- ahem, back to the topic. Mackenzie Magolly may be an extremely revered all-eyes-through-it investigator, there's still one thing bothering her though. A one whole big case consisting of ten separate cases, leaving a vague connection between all of them has yet to be solved. Given a whole lot of years, time and passion, Mackenzie has yet to solve this one specific case. As said even Mackenzie can't, other investigators too cannot solve. Everyone had passed on from this case except Mackenzie. No one knows why she's so passionate about it... Ehe-
Oh and you, yeah you, behind this chapter's screen, please be cautious that Mackenzie may or may not be a psycho when it comes to this specific case or anything about investigation, literally. She's an enthusiastic and passionate investigator. For a fact and extent, she's absolutely crazy!
Ding Dong, Ding Dong
"Hmm? Who's out there in this time of night? Seriously, it's been a whole damn while since I've had enough of sleep and finally it's a day I can get off my stupid ass cases and get a good night sleep and there has to be something hindering it. Darn it."
Yeah anyways, Mackenzie got up and went to the front door checking who's up in her house trying to bother her with full purpose.
"Who's there? If I know you're someone whom I hate for my whole lifetime, you're gonna get a whoop on your arse."
--------------------------
No one answered.
"Hey, it's not funny to literally push the doorbell 50 times, waking me up and then to leave me alone on the door. Additionally in the middle of the night. I need sleep, please."
--------------------------
Again, no one answered.
"Are you there or just want me to sound dumb here talking to myself like I'm a psycho or someone who needs a life? Dude, please it's not funny when those pranks itself aren't."
--------------------------
"Alright you know what, let me just open the door and get this over with. If I die here tonight to some serial killer or something, yeah fuck it."
Mackenzie opened the door to find no one standing in front of her but a rusty old vintage box. Seemingly very antic but still looks modern. It doesn't have a padlock even though it looks like it contains one. Either way, Mackenzie was sort of fascinated by the box's appearance, she took it in her house despite it may be a bomb to kill her.
"Oh my my, that may've been the most imbecile moments of my life but this box is SO worth it! There must've been a mysterious person that sent this with motives but I don't care, this box seems like something worth investigating though. But first, let's get some sleep and leave this for tomorrow. I need some ENERGY to work on this box."
Thus, Mackenzie put the box on the kitchen table and went back to her room to get some good night sleep. Sleep is most likely her best friend but she barely has any time together with it. She works herself to starvation sometimes; so... forget about sleep, she's sleep-deprived. Anyways, that box looks deadly vintage, it looks like some sort of memorial box that keeps memories inside of it. Well, it's up for Mackenzie to investigate it. So we'll see what's coming.
The brightest day of all time, Mackenzie has finally gotten some sleep in her whole career life and has never been better. The sunshine directly burst into her room through the window, making her wake up without an alarm. To be fair, an alarm isn't even needed when she barely sleeps anyways. So, Mackenzie got up from her bed and tidied it. Next, she went directly to the kitchen wearing her pyjamas and tried to look into the box she received yesterday.
"This box does seem like a strange one, I've just woke up so everything looks odd but this box is just... weird. I definitely need to investigate more about this, especially the person who gave me this thing AND LEFT ME TALKING TO MYSELF?!"Anyhow, Mackenzie opened the box. It was barely secured so she opened it with ease. Directly looking at what's under the box lid, what she saw quite fascinated her in an egregious way. Quite useless but still strange.
"A diary? Diaries are great mysteries but I don't really like them especially how it's gonna end up. Wait, not just a diary; there is a comb, a toothbrush, a toothpaste and a plastic cup. What's all of this, free daily necessities for me? Nah nah, these look like they belong to someone. Obviously, given that this box contains a diary, unless it's not written with anything yet."
Out of curiosity, Mackenzie opened the diary and read a few pages. By what she saw, the owner of this diary is named Breeze. Looking into more of the diary, Mackenzie found out that this particular girl, Breeze is quite a youngster. To be precise, she's about 7 to 10. Diaries are always interesting to read but there's one exact page that doesn't match well with what Breeze writes on other pages. The last page.
"This diary is actually written with a lot of perseveration oh my, and a lot of pages are written with actual stories in it. Given that she's very young, this is a lot of writing! What's weird is the last page though, what is this, some sort of fantasy thing? Nah, it doesn't look like what this girl would write even though I only scanned through what she wrote in the previous pages... She's quite straightforward with her words and stories, nothing like a fantasy-writer or diary-obsessed-folk.Other than the diary being somewhat strange and odd, the other 4 items are pretty much just ordinary items. Regarding the diary and a mysterious girl Breeze, Mackenzie still tried to continue her day on out. It was a Monday so she had work to do, especially as an extremely prodigious investigator.
Just so you know, who knows this girl... "Breeze" is involved in the mysterious never-solved case? Factually, the case is about 10 missing children... and maybe this childlike "Breeze" is one of the missing children...? Since this box... containing her diary does seem to be something very dubious and suspicious, we don't even know who gave Mackenzie this box... Talking about that, Mackenzie is also very passionate about this one case like said before, why though..? Hmm... it really doesn't connect, does it? Maybe one of any missing children is connected to Mackenzie, that's why she wants justice huh?
