Annie X Armin

Chapter 2/2

//Annie POV//

If Annie could gasp and cry...she would be but ten times stronger as she saw Armin limp his way to her side by the crystal

Armin...what happen...you're bleeding...who did this to you?! Annie demanded but remembered that he can't hear her.

"Sorry...I took so long. Some wise guy attacked me for no reason but I dealt with him." Armin smiled but she could see he was forcing the smile. "Can you believe it...I actually won the fight."

Doesn't matter, Armin. You need to go see a doctor...please! Annie pleaded as she watched him sit down beside her crystal tomb.

"Got you some...firecrackers. Want to...light some...up?" he started to cough.

Armin! Annie tried to move again but like always, couldn't. But she didn't stop trying. To her, it didn't matter if she was attacked by soldiers...or shot down...or killed right now. All she wanted to do was get out of the crystal and take him to the infirmary to see a doctor.

"H-Hey...Annie...can you hear me?" Armin then asked her. Of course she couldn't answer him. She watched him get up and walk towards her.

I can...

"I'm in love with you...Annie Leonhart."

I'm...I'm in love with you too...

"I'm a bad person, huh?"

We both are...Armin. Annie wanted to smile.

"If you had the chance...would you go back in time to fix everything you did wrong?" Armin asked her as he placed his forehead on the crack on the crystal.

No...except for the killing...I'm glad that you confessed to me, Armin. You care for me, something that no one has ever done for me. Annie felt her eyes open and all of a sudden. Her eyes were wide open, the tear that was frozen on her cheek rolled down. Armin's eyes were closed so he didn't see her eyes open.

"Sorry...for not saying this...earlier...A-A-Annie..." with that. Armin collapsed to the floor. Annie eyes widened in fear and shock as she realized that he lost blood.

"A-MFFMF!!" She tried to speak.

I want...the crystal started to crack as she pushed with all her might.

"I...MMF!" the crystal started to crack straight from the top and down the middle.

...OUT!! She shouted in her mind. But she now could speak...and she screamed.

"OUT!! I WANT OUT!! ARMIN!" the crystal broke in half and she fell out beside Armin. She sat up and crawled to his side. "Armin!"

//Armin POV//

Am I...dead? I lost a lot of blood...didn't I? But I feel like I'm breathing...and warm. Armin thought as he kept his eyes closed.

"Armin..." he heard someone's voice.

That voice...T-T-That voice...is that- Armin quickly open his eyes and saw that someone was hugging him while a blanket was covering them. He looks up to see that the crystal that kept Annie inside was cracked in two. He looked at the person hugging and realized that it was Annie.

"Annie!" he spoke up but she shushed him with one finger.

"I stopped the bleeding...and patched you up..." She said

"H-How-"

"Armin, listen..." she said. She took a deep breath. "I heard everything you said."

"Y-Y-You did?" Armin managed to say as he lay back on the wall.
