As the morning sun rose, you knew it was time for you to get up as well. Even though you didn't have to actually take classes, though you are more than welcome to attend them, you have full access to the library. And that is where you were going to start preparing for your lessons with Ursula. After doing your morning routine, putting the rosary around your neck and making sure your sword was firmly in its sheath and placed it gently on the table next to your whip, you made your way towards the library.
As you made your way there, you were met with many different looks from the other students. Some were warm and welcoming while others were a little wary. You could swear that a handful of them were genuinely fearful and hesitant to look at you in the eye. This may be a small deterrent, you still keep your head high.
Finally making it to the library, no more were eyes set on you. Instead, students and teachers alike had their eyes glued to either books, trying to get a little studying in, or going over their curriculum of lessons. Looking through the aisles, you eventually find a book of basic spells.
Thinking that this will be as good as you're gonna get, you grab the book and take it over to an empty table, and began reading. After some time, you slowly begin to understand the basics of a fireball spell.
Without knowing, hours had passed and school for the day was over, yet, you kept reading. However, your reading was interrupted when a voice cut through the silence.
Looking up from the book, five girls standing at your table. Three of them you recognize from the Tor, the other two are unfamiliar.
Purple haired girl: Um... Y/n, was it? Can we sit here with you?
Y/n: I don't see why not. Make yourselves comfortable.
They all take a seat around the table.
Y/n: So what's up?
Purple haired girl: Well, we realized we never properly introduced ourselves. Or thanked you. My name is Avery. These are my roommates and friends, Mary and Blair.
Black haired girl: I'm Barbara
Brown haired girl: And my name is Hannah.
Y/n: The two of you are friends with Diana, correct?
They both nod.
Y/n: Well, it's a pleasure to meet all of you.
Mary takes a look at the textbook you're reading
Mary: A book on basic spells?
Y/n: Just making up for lost lessons. My mom was supposed to teach me how to use magic.
Blair: But don't you need a wand?
Y/n: While some people need something like a wand or a staff, as a medium, Speakers and their descendents do not.
You demonstrate by creating a small, yet unstable ball of fire in your hand. Quickly dispelling the destructive ball before it got out of control.
Y/n: But as you can see, I may have missed a few classes.
Hannah: Hey, if you want to learn to use magic, we can help teach you!
Barbara: Yeah, we know a lot about magic. You don't need to shove your face in all these textbooks to learn the basics.
Y/n Oh no, I wouldn't wanna be a bother. Besides, Professor Ursula has offered to tutor me.
Avery: You know, as a Professor, Ursula wouldn't be available all the time. And also, we insist, it would be the least we could do after you helped us.
