Day by day it's getting harder to breathe
And maybe you are why I am suffocating myself
In the endless drama and lies
The first time I met you
I didn't know who you were
Your lovely face covered by a masquerade mask
A shiny hue with swirling reds and blues
The second time I met you
You were yet in another mask, and I never knew
For I thought you were just another stranger
But isn't that what you have always been to me?
And I wore a mask too
But you saw right through it
And by the end of the night
You knew everything about me
The third time we met
I fell head-first in love
But you, you simply laughed at me for telling the truth
''This is a masquerade ball, your faced is masked, so why not lie?''
Were the words you said to me
And I said to you
''These feelings are pure and true and I simply can not lie about loving you, do you love me too?''
All I can remembered is our intertwined hands
But now thinking back
You must have not loved me
But lied in your masquerade mask
