Tw: Body shaming, sh mentions and ED

Nancy stood up and walked to the bathroom, shivering. The frail girl stood infront of the tall mirror on the wall, and lifted up her jumper just above her stomach. She twisted her torso around to reveal stretch marks along her hips and waist. Her hands shook as her eyes welled up with tears. She dropped her jumper and covered her mouth with both her hands as she slid down the bathroom wall, sobbing lightly.

Nancy despised her body. She hated her stretch marks, her stomach, her nose, her face, her hair. Everything. She wanted to rip out her hair, cut off all her stomach fat with scissors, rip her eyes out and replace it with something new. Something that would make her feel comfortable in her own skin.

She must have been in there for at least an hour before she splashed her gave with cold water and left. She returned to the comfort of her bed, putting on her headphones and playing her comfort mixtape in her ears. Not long after, her mother shouted her down for dinner.
As much as Nancy didn't want to eat, she knew she'd be forced.

She sighed, pausing her Walkman and heading downstairs, taking a seat next to her brother, Mike. She twirled the spaghetti around her fork, staring down at her food.
It looked so delicious yet so disgusting at the same time. She contemplated the consequences of eating this. Would she get fatter? Nancy didn't need that right now. At all. Would she stay the same? It wasn't likely considering how chubby she gets very easily. God, why was something so easy so hard for her?

Karen, Her mother, noticed Nancy from across the table.

"Nancy? Are you alright, hon?"
She called out, making Nancy look up from her thoughts

"Oh, uh, yea- I- I'm fine..-"
She forced out a smile, with one hand on her lap, digging her nails into her thigh.

"Are you not going to eat?"

"I don't think she should be eating that, Karen. We don't need a fattie in the house."
Nancy's father Interrupted, avoiding eye contact with both of the females. Nancy could feel those words hit her like a stab in the heart. Her body tensed up, dropping her fork and staring at her thighs. Karen shot a glare at her husband, dropping her own fork in fury.

"Ted! How dare you?! That's no way to treat your daughter!"

Nancy felt tears well up in her eyes, before falling onto her cheeks. Beside her, Mike and Holly looked confused. Holly looked more scared than confused. Nancy couldn't take it. She stood up and stormed out of the house, slamming the door behind her.

She ran out, into the pouring rain while she sobbed, she ran through fields, forests, streets, roads. She wound up at skull rock, leaning her head against the boulder and letting the tears and rain drip down her face.

"Nance?"

A raspy voice called out from the sound of rain. She opened her eyes and squinted at the silhouette walking carefully towards her.

"R- robin..?"

"Hey Nancy.. why are you here? Are you alright?"
The taller girl sat next to the shorter one, holding her umbrella over both of there heads. Nancy hesitated for a moment, her body tensing up.

"U-- uh... Well.. I- I just feel... fat. I feel fat and uncomfortable in my own fucking skin! Even my dad thinks so, Robin! I'm a mess! It- It's just not fair.! I want to be pretty! I want to feel pretty! I want to be able to look at myself in the mirror and not think that i look like a pig!"

Nancy rambled, her eyes welling up with tears. She began sobbing again, holding up her hands and clenching them in her scalp. Robin took sympathy for the girl and wrapped her arm around her shoulder.

Nancy wrapped both arms around the girl, sobbing onto her shoulder. Robin threw the umbrella to the side and closed it, before wrapping her arms around Nancy's waist and rubbing her hands against the sobbing girls skin, soothingly.

"Nancy, You are beautiful regardless. Nothing will change that. Your smile is absolutely radiant, Your eyes are so elegant, your cheeks are rosy and so, so pretty. And you aren't fat, not at all. And if you were, so what? You can still be beautiful, and you are. Don't listen to your dad, listen to me. Now wipe those tears away, Nance. Don't listen to them ever again."

Robin rambled, pouring out all her feelings she had kept for so long. She had loved Nancy since the day she had met her.

Nancy took her head off the girl's shoulder and looked into her warm, embracing eyes. Nancy held her arms out and onto the back of Robins neck, leaning in forward until there lips connected.

They both pulled away, staring at eachother with kind and loving eyes. And for once in her life, Nancy felt comfortable in her own skin.

She felt beautiful.
