Part 2 of the second chapter!!

Tw: Etemophobia, Hospitals
-------

The pale girl stumbled in the back seat of the car and lay down, taking up all the space. She took her right arm and covered her eyes with it, breathing heavily. Her stomach was still aching but it had gotten a little better, however the nausea never left. She had a plastic bag next to her just in case.

Nancy was in the front driver's seat, obviously, looking back at Robin every minute to make sure thiey were okay.

"How are you feeling now?"
Nancy asked, looking back at the girl through the rear view mirror.

"mm.. still the same."
Robin mumbled as everything went fuzzy and started spinning around her. She tried to focus on her shoes, but couldn't for very long.
She closed her eyes and let out a small whimper, holding back tears.
Nancy noticed and her expression softened.

"Don't worry, Robbie, we'll be back at my house soon, okay?"
Nancy whispered in a soft, comforting voice. Robin nodded, unable to speak as a stray tear rolled down her cheek.
Her head felt heavy and achy, her vision was blurry and she could taste a mix of blood and vomit in her mouth. She would occasionally spit into the bag, but never really any vomit, at least not when she was in the car.
She let out the occasional sob which Nancy noticed, but there was nothing she could do while she was driving, her ribs laced with guilt from every noise she heard the girl make.

They arrived at The Wheeler Residence and Nancy was the first to get out. She opened the door for Robin as the frail women before her shakily sat up and got out, using the chair and door as support before grabbing onto Nancy's side.

Nance opened the front door, ignoring all questions from her father and brother. Her main priority was Robin, no one else.

She set Robin down in bed, covering her with her duvet.

"I'm gunna go get you some pills, okay? The bathroom is just down the hall if you think you're gunna be sick again, alright?"
Nance said softly, running her fingers through Robin's hair soothingly. Robin nodded and nuzzled into the blanket over her in a desperate attempt to keep warm. Nancy smiled softly and walked out, closing the door behind her.
She walked through the living room timidly and into the kitchen where her mother stood, chopping up tomatoes.

"Nancy, who was that pale girl you brought it?"
Karen asked, dropping the knife and turning towards her daughter, who was filling a glass with cold water

"She's my friend, Robin. She's sick and I figured that she didn't want to be alone right now. She has Emetophobia."
Nancy replied, forcing the word 'Friend.' Karen nodded in understanding and smiled.

"Do you want me to bring you two anything? Advil? Wet rag?"

"Yeah, that's be great, thanks."
Nancy smiled, grabbing the water and walking back to her room. Karen smiled back and nodded, heading up to the bathroom with a bottle of pills in one hand.

Robin was still in the same position, but she was shivering. Nancy headed over to the bed and sat beside her, putting the water on her bedside table. Robin moved over and wrapped her arms around Nancy's waist, resting her head on the smaller girls lap. Nancy smiled and stroked her hands through Robin's hair.

Karen walked in quietly, placing the advil and rag beside the water.
Nancy tensed, she hadn't come out to her parents yet, God knows what they would think. But, Karen knew. She knew from the start.
She simply smiled warmly, like a mother should and walked out. Nancy was relieved, but she turned her attention back to the frail girl before her.

"Robbie, can you sit up for me?"
She whispered, moving her hands from the girls head and picked up the rag. Robin obeyed and slowly picked her head up and leaned against the headboard.
She placed the rag against Robin's feverish forehead carefully. The girl flinched at the cold touch before sighing.
Robin took the advil and water from Nancy but she didn't eat it. She couldn't. Another wave of nausea rushed through her as she dropped them both and ran towards the bathroom. Nancy panicked and followed closely behind her.

Robin dropped to her knees, before retching and spluttering into the toilet bowl. Nancy dropped with her, rubbing soothing circles along her back. Robin gasped for air between gags and then she threw up some more but this time was different. Robin opened her eyes and found a pool of blood laying there. Nancy gasped as Robin fell back, fighting consciousness.

"Robin? Robin?! Mom! CALL AN AMBULANCE,"
Nancy yelled downstairs as she cupped Robin's hot face. Robin started hyperventilating, groaning and moaning more as her stomach and abdomen screamed at her. She heald onto her side desperately, screaming and crying.
Nancy panicked, frantically looking around the room for anything that could help.
"Robin! Stay with me, the paramedics are on there way!"

Karen raced upstairs toward the bathroom and knelt down next to both of the girls.

"Honey, Don't worry, the ambulance will be here soon, okay?"
Robin didn't listen, she couldn't. She was too distracted by the pain to acknowledge anything.

"MAKE IT STOP! PLEASE, MAKE IT STOP!"
She sobbed, tears rolling down her and Nancy's face.
Luckily the paramedics arrived and took her away, leaving a distraught Nancy behind.

Karen pulled her into a motherly hug as Nancy cried on her shoulder.

"Sshhh... its okay honey, Robin will be fine."
Karen whispered but Nancy didn't believe her. She couldn't believe her. A doctor came up to them both, as Nancy looked to the side.

"We've diagnosed her with appendicitis. She'll have to undergo emergency surgery. But don't worry, it's extremely easy and completely normal. You can come and see her tommorow."

Karen and Nancy thanked the doctor and watched him walk away, Nancy felt stupid, why didn't she take her to the hospital sooner? God, how was she going to make it up to her?
