A Surprise; Battle Trial

Soon, the party ended and we all went home. As I rode in the car with Kurohoshi, I could tell I was tired, and that my feet were sore.

"Did you have fun?" Kurohoshi asked as he drove. I smiled softly, too exhausted to be energetic.

"Yeah, I got to know that Todoroki guy pretty well." I explained.

"Todoroki? The son of Endeavor?" Kurohoshi repeated back to me, confused.

"Mhmm." I said casually as I cuddled up into my seat. "Did you have fun?" I asked him, switching the convo to him.

"Yeah, I was pretty swarmed most of the night. The only time I got a break was in the bathroom!" Kurohoshi responded, laughing at the end of his explanation. I giggled, knowing that was going to happen. Suddenly, my phone pinged. I looked and saw a text from mom, opening it.

"Mom wants to know how the party went." I said as I began to text her back.

"Okay. Tell her we'll be a little late, there's somewhere I want to take you." Kurohoshi said. I paused and looked up at him confused. Kurohoshi just stared straight ahead and smiled as he drove. I resumed texting mom then put my phone down. It took us about 15 minutes to arrive at the location, it was a plain-looking building on the outside. Kurohoshi and I got out of the car, and I shivered slightly; the cool breeze startling me for a second.

"What is this place?" I asked, confused. Kurohoshi walked around and smiled at me, his hands in his pockets.

"A surprise." He said teasingly. I rolled my eyes and took his arm, using him as a support for my aching feet. Kurohoshi and I walked over to the door and he held it open for me as we entered. I was in awe. The building was beautiful on the inside. It shone so brightly compared to the midnight sky outside. Inside was a beautiful clothing store, such bright vibrant colors that were amazing. So many types of clothing from tops to shorts to skirts and dresses, also shoes and other accessories.

"Woah! What is this place!?" I shouted, in awe. Kurohoshi chuckled, pleased with his job well done.

"It's called: Petite Lolita Shop. I know you're into cute clothes and vibrant colors, so I found this shop from an old friend in middle school and had her give me the address. She got back to me a while ago and I've been waiting to bring you here." Kurohoshi rambled on, lost in his explanation. Meanwhile, I was lost in the beauty of the shop. I slowly began to look at all the clothes, admiring each item graciously.

"You can choose whatever you want, I've saved up plenty of money for you to buy whatever." Kurohoshi stated. I ran over and hugged him tightly.

"Thank you so much Kuro-kun, you're the best!" I shouted, then proceeded to ecstatically look around and choose some things that I would wear. Kurohoshi bought them all then we finally went home.

"Hey, did you two have fun?" Dad asked groggily as we came back into the house. I was so giddy that I wasn't as tired as earlier.

"Yeah! Kuro-kun took me to this amazing store and let me buy whatever I wanted, he's the best!" I shouted. Dad smiled at me and Kurohoshi simultaneously.

"Well that's good." Dad responded.

"And of course, Kurohoshi was being fawned over by everyone at the party!" I added as I placed my bags down and began taking my shoes off.

"See, what I tell you son, you've got my good looks. Boys and girls can't keep their eyes off of you." Dad said as he patted Kurohoshi's back and laughed wheezily.

"Damn right dad!" Kurohoshi responded just as joyously, laughing along with him. Both of our parents are part of the queer community so no one was baffled when Kurohoshi came out as bisexual. I myself am not, but I am fully supportive of them all.
