It was just a normal day, for the students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, well as normal as it can be in a school for witches and wizards.

Nyx Ophelia Potter-Black sat at the Gryffindor table, regretting her decision to talk Alistair the sorting hat out of placing her in Slytherin.

Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger her 'best friends' were arguing like that was anything new, and Nyx was just about at her wit's end, she was just about ready to say screw it and blow her whole golden girl act and curse them both because they were giving her a headache.

It was almost the end of her fifth year, just a few short months and she could go home to her true home. Camp Half-Blood, because unknown to the very much behind the times British Wizarding World well minus a few, had no clue who she really was. She also couldn't wait to see her lover again, to be in his arms. Just four more months and she could leave the Wizarding World for the summer. She wanted nothing more than to just leave... they didn't know who she was, not really all they did was stare at her like some escaped zoo animal and praise her for the littlest thing and then turn their backs on her when she does something they don't like, and not to mention that she had to deal with the pink toad of a professor who absolutely seemed to have it out for her, she clenched  her jaw as she flexed her hand that was bandaged because the words "I must not tell lies" were carved into her flesh because of the use of a blood quill from her detentions with said pink toad of a professor.

Not to mention that only two of the professors believed her, her Head of House Minerva McGonagall and her charms professor, Filius Flitwick, who was Nyx's second favorite professor behind McGonagall. They had both gone to Dumbledore about what their favorite student told them, but the old man waved it off as nothing. Which in turn made the two suspicious of the headmaster.

Nyx was so lost in her head that she didn't notice the arrival of several people until she jumped at the sound of the great hall doors slamming open, Nyx looked confused seeing Remus and Sirius in Snuffles form since he was still a wanted man. The Malfoys, Corvus Lestrange, and his granddaughter Nyx's half-sister Adrianne Lestrange, Amelia Bones, head of the DMLE, the Minister of Magic Cornelius Fudge, the Tonks family, the Weasleys, The Order, and some Ministry officials were all among the group that entered.

Fudge looked at Dumbledore, "what is the meaning of this Dumbledore?"

The old man had his grandfatherly twinkle in his eyes "I'm afraid I have no idea what you are all doing here." that twinkle made Nyx want to gouge his eyes out with a spoon.

Before anyone could react, there was a bright light, and a group of five people was standing there once the light faded they all looked confused.

This group of people were known as the Mikaelson Siblings, and unknown to the public, they were very close, and the daggering and the fighting was only a front. Niklaus never actually leaves his siblings daggered for more than a few hours just so people think that they're at odds when they're really not and then they strike together as a family against their enemies.

The youngest living brother Kol was about to find out the truth behind his daughter's disappearance, that was one of the two things he kept from his siblings, the existence of his daughter, he was going to tell them but then she disappeared and along with her part of his humanity. The other was that he wasn't fully their brother, and their mother had another affair resulting in his birth.

Once again before anyone can react another flash of bright light appeared and disappeared leaving another group behind all the adult wizards in the room bar a few that recognized the group drew their wands.

What took all of them again minus the few that knew the truth by surprise was when Nyx's eyes met with the crystal blue eyes of her lover, she had missed him so much, she was out of her seat and running across the great hall into his arms which were opened the second she stood up. He caught her and wrapped his arms around her waist as he lifted her up off the ground.
